Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure provide methods and systems for evaluating and recording a property of a system of interest (SOI) such as, e.g., a property of artificial intelligence (AI), and recording a change to the property of the SOI, e.g., recording a morphism of AI. Recording an SOI property, and any property changes, may include recording a digital property of the SOI to a blockchain. An SOI morphism may be recorded to a blockchain as one or more hash values of an encoding of the SOI. An SOI morphism may be autonomously or exogenously generated and recorded to the blockchain. The records on the blockchain may indemnify one or more parties associated with the SOI. Indemnifying may include executing a smart contract on a blockchain to mitigate risk of loss. An SOI may be asked to complete one or more tests to distinguish between a human, AI, and non-AI programs.

Abstract: This document describes methods and systems for delivering digital services to nodes of a distributed network. To do this, an edge server that is communicatively connected to a communication network receives, from a consumer node, a service request for a first requested digital service. The edge server (acting as a digital resource broker) also will receive, from each a plurality of service provider nodes, an identification of one or more digital service element capabilities that the service provider node is able to provide. The digital resource broker will identify a set of service provider nodes who have identified digital service element capabilities that are components of the requested digital service. The digital resource broker will create a channel that includes the set of service provider nodes and, for each node, its identified capabilities that are components of the requested service.

Abstract: A vending machine is described that uses digital currency transactions to enable a user to purchase items from their portable computing device. Using a control system in communication with various components of the vending machine and an internet connection for communicating with a remote digital currency system, such as a bitcoin network, a digital currency processing system executes digital currency transactions and stores the resulting digital currency in a transaction storage repository. The control system initiates dispensing of purchased items based on communication from the digital currency processing system.

Abstract: There is provided a method and apparatus that monitors and records the status and cargo inventory of a shipping container. The shipping container includes a container control unit that records and monitors the status and inventory particular to that container. Sensors are provided within the container to determine the container status. A piezoceramic actuator provides power to rechargeable batteries in the container control unit. Thus the container includes a self contained power source. A bridge control unit monitors and records the status and inventory of every container on a vessel. A remote control unit monitors and records the status and inventory of every container worldwide.

Abstract: A public on-line computer terminal providing the general public a variety of on-line services over the global telecommunications network for a fee is controlled by a pliant currency acceptor that activates a timing function. The public user is provided through public telecommunications channels and interface equipment access to the global telecommunications network for a predetermined amount of time in accordance with the currency inserted in the pliant currency acceptor.
