  • Patent number: 5703030
Abstract: Bleach compositions comprising certain carboxylate-containing cobalt catalysts are provided. More specifically, the invention relates to automatic dishwashing detergents and laundry compositions which provide enhanced cleaning/bleaching benefits (especially tea stain removal) through the selection of cobalt catalysts having the formula:?Co(NH.sub.3).sub.5 M!T.sub.ywherein cobalt is in the +3 oxidation state; and M is a substituted and unsubstituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.30 carboxylate-containing ligand having the formula RC(O)O--.

  • Patent number: 5642557
Abstract: This invention relates to a clip for releasably connecting a panel edge to a rod. The clip comprises a first jaw for releasable connection to the panel edge, and an opposed, substantially arcuate, second jaw for releasable connection to the rod. The first jaw includes a locking means for engaging with a complimentary part of the panel edge. The first and second jaws are integrally formed of a resilient material. The clip may be particularly suitable for joining display panels together about a common connecting rod. The display panels, once connected or joined, are free to move with respect to each other about the common connecting rod which acts as a hinge.

  • Patent number: 4593464
Abstract: Conductive terminals (40) are plastically deformed whereby to connect electrically and mechanically to one or another of a pair of tubular electrical conductors (10,20) of a triaxial connector. Each terminal has an annular groove (41) therein received within a respective notch (13) in a lip extending from one of the respective tubular conductors (20, 30) and the terminal is struck to deform the walls of the groove around the lip. The other end of each terminal (40) is connected to the connector housing (1) by a plastic potting compound (50).

  • Patent number: 4519666
Abstract: The invention is a method for mounting tubular electrical conductors (10, 20) of a triaxial connector to the connector housing and the connector thus formed (1) and is characterized by a plurality of electrically conducting terminals (40) that have an annular groove (41) therein that mate with a respective notch (13) in the respective tubular conductors (20, 30). The other end of each terminal (40) is connected to the housing (1) by a plastic potting compound (50).

  • Patent number: 4440463
Abstract: An electrical connector having a plated plastic grounding insert (12) providing an electrical connection from a grounding electrode (18) to the connector shell (14) the ground insert (12) including integral spring fins (22) extending diposed about the periphery of the insert and extending from a rear face thereof compressibly received within a bore (26) in the connector shell (14). Grounding towers (30) are also formed integrally with the grounding insert (12), including a generally conical proturbance (30) extending from the front face of the insert with slots (32) providing resiliency for friction engagement of the grounding electrode (18). The grounding insert (12) and contacts (16) are supported by encapsulating material (36, 38) disposed on either side of the insert (12). The insert (12) is coated with a cnductive layer such as metallic silver to enable establishment of the electrical connections.

  • Patent number: 3998718
Abstract: To adapt ion milling of thin film devices to the requirements of large scale industrial production a configuration of ion source and device holders is proposed which allows the simultaneous processing of a large number of devices. In the proposed configuration ions are emitted radially from a cylindrical source and strike surfaces to be patterned on devices attached to device holders which rotate and revolve around the ion source in planetary fashion.
