  • Publication number: 20240140024
Abstract: Methods of creating additive manufactured parts include selectively dispensing, in a shape area according to a layer of a part to be created by additive manufacturing, a second composition onto a top surface of a first composition in a vat, wherein a polymerization component is in the second composition. In some cases, polymerization components for formation of the layer are kept separate from each other until the dispensing. In some cases, a first polymerization component is in the first composition, and a second polymerization component is in the second composition. The top surface is illuminated to expose the first composition and the second composition to light having a polymerization wavelength, thereby causing polymerization of the layer of the part only in the shape area. The dispensing comprises customizing a reaction variable of the polymerization to customize reaction kinetics in different portions of the shape area.

  • Publication number: 20090206089
Abstract: A lid for removable attachment to a cup having an upper rim defining an opening includes a generally horizontal portion configured to cover the opening. The horizontal portion includes upper and lower faces and is generally circular. The horizontal portion includes a pour opening and a secondary opening to equalize internal air pressure. The lid further includes a connection portion extending downwardly from the generally horizontal portion, the connection portion having a circumference with a configuration complementary to a configuration of the upper rim so as to selectively couple the generally horizontal portion to the upper rim. The includes an enclosed compartment configured to house a breath freshening device, the compartment being accessible when the connection portion couples the generally horizontal portion to the upper rim. The enclosed compartment includes a removable flap.
