  • Publication number: 20150060341
Abstract: A liquid solid separator tank has a motor driven recirculating belt having rollers placed therein processing a mixture of materials. The top belt brings wet materials into a collection trough having overflow weirs disposed externally. These weirs permit overflow liquids to flow down towards a main tank; then, a sump pump reintroduces water back into an influent basin to cleanse the mixture once again. Also, the action of a motor driven auger within the trough forces solids towards a dewatering box attached externally thereto. This box has a motor driven rotating cage mounted on moveable rollers and internally attached removable brushes that act to clean the outer surface of the cage as it moves in addition to a stationary high pressure wash. A shroud channels the influent liquid solid mixture towards a filtered water basin disposed directly underneath the lower belt portion permitting cleansed water to be removed therefrom.

  • Publication number: 20130213904
Abstract: An industrial separator and dewatering plant delivers an influent to an inclined rotating filter belt for filtering out solid matter from the influent. A wash water is sprayed on the return portion of the belt to dislodge residual solid matter captured within the belt. A dewatering portion has an auger screw positioned for receiving the solid matter and the wash water. The auger screw transports the wash water and the solid matter to a compression cage where water is driven out of the solid matter by compression as it exits the plant. Alternately, the solid matter and wash water may be delivered together to a plant exit. Excess wash water is able to drain from the auger screw through a separate drain.

  • Patent number: 8302780
Abstract: An industrial separator and dewatering plant has a filtering portion using an inclined conveyor belt for carrying away a watery cake from an aqueous mixture containing solid matter. The filtering portion further has a wash water spray nozzle directed at the conveyor belt so as to dislodge the watery cake penetrated within the conveyor belt. A dewatering portion has a compression auger screw positioned for receiving the dislodged watery cake and the wash water. An auger screw receives the wash water and cake which is transported to a compression cage where compression drives water out of the cake leaving a semi-solid cake which is pressed against a door where it exits the plant.

  • Patent number: 7190264
Abstract: A monitoring system for a valuable item, such as a digital device, has a base unit affixed to the valuable and a remote unit carried by a person responsible for the valuable. Signals are exchanged between the base and remote units. The base continuously monitors for signals from the remote unit and can arm or disarm automatically in response to such signals. When armed, the base communicates with a program running on the valuable to lock peripherals. The base alerts the owner upon movement of the valuable, allowing the owner to screen for false alarms or be notified of an occurring theft attempt. A digital connection between the base and the valuable may be used to encrypt any data stored on the valuable and charge the internal batteries of the security device. A soft switch enables the base to be powered off by the corresponding remote unit.

  • Publication number: 20060026591
Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing a pluggable and extendable J2EE architecture are provided. The method and apparatus provide mechanisms for defining extension points within modules of the J2EE application and mechanisms for defining plug-in or extension modules that may be integrated into the J2EE application via these extension points. In addition, a mechanism for merging the plug-in or extension modules into the J2EE application at deployment is provided such that all of the information necessary for generating instantiations of the plug-in or extension modules is integrated into the J2EE application configuration files. As a result, an integrated J2EE application is made possible from a modularized and extendable development of the J2EE application.

  • Publication number: 20060005066
Abstract: System, method and computer program product for monitoring the status of components in a data processing system that improves the accessibility of JMX monitoring information in web content. The system includes a mechanism for acquiring a text representation of component status for display as ALT and TITLE content associated with each status image. Because the component status is displayed in a manner that is indistinguishable from ALT/TITLE text that has already been statically included in an image attribute, user experience is improved for users with and without accessibility needs.
