  • Patent number: 9315086
Abstract: A recreational utility vehicle having an enclosure with a bottom wall and first and second side wall assemblies is provided. The first and second side wall assemblies and the bottom wall define an interior region. The vehicle further includes a first suspension assembly coupled directly to the first side wall assembly, having a first swing arm assembly with a first operational position in which a first portion of the bottom wall of the enclosure is at a predetermined distance from a ground level elevation. The first swing arm assembly has a second operational position in which the first portion of the bottom wall of the enclosure is at the ground level elevation. The vehicle further includes a second suspension assembly operably coupled directly to the second side wall assembly.

  • Patent number: 8794641
Abstract: A micro weight enclosure when fully loaded with gear and equipment is capable of being towed by vehicles with gross tow weight ratings of less than 1000 lbs. This enclosure does not utilize a traditional chassis, rather uses common manufacturing of panel assemblies mechanically attached together forming the basic structural elements required for strength at minimal weight and reduced wind drag. The enclosure, being ergonomically optimized, allows enough space to stand in one location, but sit, recline, or lay prone in a most comfortable fashion, and to attend to human hygiene and related activity in a secure protected environment. The independent suspension couples directly to the enclosure lowers the vehicle, reducing wind drag, allowing enclosure leveling, improves ingress, egress, and overall occupant comfort. The enclosure being acceptable for day travel; surfing or partying in urban and rural environments as example, or extended travel; road trips or camping as example.

  • Publication number: 20080070908
Abstract: Compositions including a quinolone component, such as ofloxacin, having fungistatic activity in the compositions, present in an amount effective as an antibiotic when the composition is placed in a mammalian eye, a NSAID component present in an amount to reduce inflammation or pain when the composition is placed in the eye, and a carrier component in an amount effective to act as a carrier for the quinolone component and NSAID component are provided. Methods of using the present compositions, for example, to resolve microbial infections and/or to reduce inflammation and/or pain in a mammalian eye are included within the scope of the present invention. Methods for treating corneal injuries are also included. In addition, methods for treating ocular infections, for example, corneal infections, are included.

  • Publication number: 20050040103
Abstract: Enhanced wastewater treatment utilizing directed energy to promote degradation of sludge is disclosed. The directed energy is delivered in a stream circulating to and from an anaerobic digester. The directed energy incorporates mechanical shear energy, ultrasonic energy, and/or hydraulic shear energy. Characterization of odor potential is further disclosed involving the analyzing volatilized sulfur-containing species from dewatered sludge. The odor potential can be used to control operation of the wastewater treatment by controlling the directed energy and/or polymer dose.
