Abstract: A wiper cleaning device for cleaning a fluid product dispensing system is disclosed herein. The dispensing system includes a canister of product including a nozzle or nozzle assembly, a wiper plate including an opening wherein product may pass through, and an elastomeric wiper removably coupled to the wiper plate. The canister is moved to and from a dispensing position above the opening. The wipers contact the nozzle as the canister is moved to and from the dispensing position. Product is dispensed from the canister and through the nozzle and the wipers clean the nozzle assembly of any dispensed or residual product. The nozzle or nozzle assembly may include an upper nozzle plate, a lower nozzle plate, and a duckbill valve.

Abstract: A nozzle assembly for dispensing a fluid product is disclosed herein. The dispensing nozzle assembly includes an upper nozzle plate adapted to mate with a canister and a duckbill valve. The nozzle assembly also includes a lower nozzle plate coupled to the upper nozzle plate and which accommodates the duckbill valve. The duckbill valve may have a base portion which is secured between the lower nozzle plate and upper nozzle plate. The upper nozzle may include an aperture for receiving a canister valve. The upper nozzle may include a diverter which forms a part of the aperture. Product is dispensed from the canister and through the nozzle assembly. The duckbill valve deforms to an open position to allow the product to be dispensed and reforms to a closed position after dispensing has stopped.

Abstract: Embodiments relate to a dispensing system, such as a hair care product dispensing system, which controls access to an electronically controlled cabinet. In some embodiments the dispensing system tracks the inventory of the items stored in the cabinet.

Collected data associated with the identification is recorded. A second desired amount based on at least some of the collected data in at least one file in the database is recommended. The at least one dispenser is controlled by the at least one controller based on the first desired amount or the second desired amount. The at least one dispenser is configured to dispense the second desired amount.
