    Abstract: This document describes, among other things, a computer-implemented method that includes receiving, by a computing system, data that represents a plurality of measurements associated with a mechanical circulatory support device connected to a patient over a period of time. The method can include determining, based on the plurality of measurements, respective trends for one or more operating characteristics of the device over the period of time, and generating a respective representation for each of the trends that is formatted for presentation to a user for assessing whether the trends indicate a likelihood of an operational defect associated with the device. The method can include providing the respective representations to the user.
