  • Publication number: 20230052967
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to the field of snow shovels. More specifically, the present invention relates to a snow shovel deicer device primarily comprised of a handle, a shaft, a dispensing unit, a secondary housing, a shovel head and a de-icing bottle filled with de-icing solution. A button on the handle of the device can be depressed to dispense de-icing solution from nozzles that may be located on the shaft and the rear of the shovel head. In this manner, a user can shovel snow with the shovel head while simultaneously de-icing the area he or she has just shoveled. In differing embodiments, the shovel head may be removable, such that a user can use the shaft and nozzle located on the shaft to de-ice or pretreat an area prior to inclement weather.

  • Patent number: 10472923
Abstract: A fluid choke may include a housing and a shuttle configured to move within an interior chamber of the housing. The housing may have a fluid inlet channel and a fluid outlet channel. The shuttle may have a gate connected to an end of the shuttle and the gate may be configured to mate with a seat located in the housing at the fluid outlet channel. The shuttle may be moved within the interior chamber by a pressurized hydraulic fluid configured to apply a hydraulic pressure to a peripheral portion of the shuttle, an inner portion of the shuttle, and the gate.

  • Patent number: 9131365
Abstract: An apparatus for securing communications includes a processor and memory storing executable computer code causing the apparatus to at least perform operations including receiving a request to activate a service transferring communications of a cellular network to a wireless local network. The computer program code may further cause the apparatus to provide an activation key to a device responsive to an indication that the device is authorized to utilize the service based on determining an identifier(s) of the request is valid. The computer program code may further cause the apparatus to provide a private key to the device, to enable the device to utilize the private key to subsequently register to transfer communications of the cellular network to a wireless local network(s), responsive to receiving a message for the private key from the device and a message from the cellular network. Corresponding methods and computer program products are also provided.

  • Patent number: 8521157
Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatus, and computer program products are provided for re-routing calls from mobile stations. For example, in one embodiment, a call from a mobile station to a non-local number can be re-routed to a local number. The local number can then be used to communicate with a call server to deliver the re-routed call to the non-local number.
