  • Patent number: 10260293
Abstract: A downhole manifold assembly includes a manifold body defining a longitudinal axis and having a first end face, a second end face, and an outer surface extending therebetween. A fluid circuit is defined in the manifold body and includes a plurality of axially extending fluid passages and a plurality of radially extending fluid passages. The radially extending fluid passages extend to the outer surface of the manifold body. Each radially extending fluid passage defines a respective aperture in the outer surface. The manifold assembly also includes a control valve coupled to the manifold body. The control valve is positionable between a first position in which a flow of pressurized fluid is channeled through the fluid circuit in a first direction, and a second position in which the flow is reversed and the pressurized fluid is channeled through the fluid circuit in a second direction.

    Assignee: GENERAL ELECTRIC COMPANY
Inventors: Bodhayan Dev, Aaron Christopher Noakes, Brian Paul Reeves
  • Patent number: 10040489
Abstract: An exterior trim part for a vehicle comprises a fibrous porous structural layer. The fibrous porous structural layer consists of staple fibers, only. At least 50%, preferably between 70% and 100%, of the staple fibers comprise a first polymer made of modified polyester, such as CoPET, with a melting temperature between 150° C. and 240° C., preferably between 190° C. and 240° C.

  • Publication number: 20110105634
Abstract: The embodiments of the present invention provide for viscoelastic polyurethane foams made in the presence of a bismuth comprising catalyst. The viscoelastic polyurethane foam may be the reaction product of a reaction mixture including at least one polyol and at least one isocyanate, wherein the at least one polyol and the at least one isocyanate are reacted in the presence of at least one bismuth comprising catalyst, and wherein the viscoelastic polyurethane foam has a density of less than 100 kg/m3 and a resilience of less than about 25%.

  • Publication number: 20110015293
Abstract: A polyether NOP comprises at least two natural oil moieties separated by a molecular structure having at least about 19 ether groups or by a polyether molecular structure having an equivalent weight of at least about 480, said polyol referred to hereinafter as a polyether NOP. The polyether NOP is preferably prepared by a process comprising admixing at least one polyether initiator having an equivalent weight of at least about 480 or at least about 19 ether groups per active hydrogen group with at least one natural oil or derivative thereof under reaction conditions such that at least one polyether NOP is formed. The invention includes reaction products of the polyether NOP or combinations thereof, optionally and preferably in admixture with at least one other polyol which preferably includes at least one polyether polyol and at least one monomer reactive therewith, preferably at least one polyisocyanate to form a polyurethane, preferably in the form of a foam, especially a high resilience foam.

  • Publication number: 20100197878
Abstract: A composition comprises (A) a blend of (a) at least one first natural oil polyol prepared by a first process, and (b) at least one second natural oil polyol different from the first natural oil polyol, prepared by a second process; or (B) a prepolymer prepared from at least one first natural oil polyol prepared by a first process, and (b) at least one second natural oil polyol different from the first natural oil polyol, prepared by a second process; or (C) at least one prepolymer prepared from (a) at least one first natural oil polyol prepared by a first process, and (b) at least one second natural oil polyol different from the first natural oil polyol, prepared by a second process. Polymer preparable from a composition of the invention and at least one monomer interpolymerizable therewith. The polymer is most preferably a polyurethane. A process of preparing a polymer comprises (a) admixing at least one such composition with at least one monomer interpolymerizable therewith.
