  • Publication number: 20160312436
Abstract: A machine includes a frame extending between a first end and a second end, a work tool supported by the frame proximate the first end, and a counterweight supported by the frame proximate the second end. The machine further includes a hood supported by the frame and a hood guard assembly supported by the counterweight and configured to protect the hood from damage. The machine further includes a flexible iso-mount interposed between the hood guard assembly and the counterweight so as to provide a non-rigid connection between the hood guard assembly and the counterweight.

  • Patent number: 6931687
Abstract: Apparatus for moving passengers between an airport terminal building and a doorway of an aircraft located rearward of a wing of the aircraft which includes a passageway member pivotally anchored to one of the terminal building and a passenger loading bridge for servicing a front doorway of a same aircraft. The apparatus includes a telescopic passageway member that is pivotally mounted to the passageway member via a flexible connection. In use, the apparatus is cantilevered over the wing of an aircraft with the flexible connection substantially above a highest point along an upper surface of the aircraft wing. The flexible connection allows a cabin carried at an outboard end of the telescopic passageway member to mate to the rear doorway of the aircraft, providing an open passageway between the rear doorway and the terminal building through which passengers deplane.

  • Patent number: 6820771
Abstract: An insulated beverage dispenser (10) with an outer housing (24) having reinforcing cavities (86) and reinforcing ribs (88) on a canted surface (92) of a top closure (78) to resist distortion that is fitted over an integrally formed inner liner (48) in spaced relationship to provide a gap (52) that is evacuated to approximately 8% of standard atmospheric pressure. The bottom closure (62) of the inner liner (48) is symmetrically tilted downwardly across the center to a center-offset drain opening (76) to reduce the lateral extent (137) of a dispense tube (136) to reduce the quantity of beverage contained within the dispense tube (136) and subject to heat loss between the drain opening (76) to and a faucet (20). The dispense tube (136) is protectively contained within a hollow bottom section (25) for purposes of insulation and is also wrapped in foam insulation (139) for further insulation.

  • Patent number: 6820296
Abstract: A novel apparatus for moving passengers between an airport terminal building and a doorway of an aircraft located rearward of a wing of the aircraft. The inventive apparatus includes a passageway member pivotally anchored to one of the terminal building and a passenger loading bridge for servicing a front doorway of a same aircraft. The apparatus includes a telescopic passageway member that is pivotally mounted to the passageway member via a flexible connection. In use, the apparatus is cantilevered over the wing of an aircraft with the flexible connection substantially above a highest point along an upper surface of the aircraft wing. Positioning the flexible connection above the high point of the wing approximately minimizes the inclination of each passageway member floor surface.
