  • Patent number: 12051143
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, non-transitory computer-readable media, and methods for generating and modifying digital animations based on user interactions with a unique user interface portraying a one-dimensional layer motion element and/or elements for generating and utilizing animation path for digital design objects and animation layers. The disclosed system can provide a dynamic one-dimensional layer motion element that adapts to a selected animation layer and portrays selectable animation frames from the animation layer. The disclosed systems can provide options for generating and modifying various frames of the digital animation based on user interactions with the one-dimensional layer motion element, an animation timeline, and/or a corresponding animation canvas.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 11145333
Abstract: Systems and methods provide for capturing and presenting content creation tools of an application used in a video. Application data from the application for the duration of the video is received. The application data includes data identifiers and time markers corresponding to user interaction with an application in a video. The application data is processed to detect tool identifiers identifying tools used in the video based on the data identifiers. For each a tool identifier, a tool label and a corresponding time in the timeline is determined. A tool record storing the tool labels and the corresponding times in association with the video is generated. When a viewer requests to watch the video, the tool record is presented to the viewer in conjunction with the video.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: October 12, 2021
    Assignee: ADOBE INC.
Inventors: William Hayes Allen, Lubomira Dontcheva, Haiqing Lu, Zachary Platt McCullough, David R. Stein, Christopher Nuuja, Benoit Ambry, Joel Richard Brandt, Cristin Ailidh Fraser, Joy Oakyung Kim, Hijung Shin

  • Patent number: 9740310
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods, and computer storage media directed to a drawing application that enables intuitive application of a pressure-sensitive effect to a rendered stroke. Such a drawing application may receive input stroke data along including pressure measurements along a path of the stroke. The drawing application may then map the pressure measurements to respective attribute values for a pressure sensitive stroke attribute. Such a mapping results in a pressure measurement at a predefined level of pressure mapping to a default attribute value, while a pressure measurement above or below the predefined level of pressure would result in an attribute value greater than or less than the default attribute value. The drawing application may then cause a stroke to be rendered on the display in accordance with the attribute values for the pressure sensitive stroke attribute.
