    Abstract: A conversion kit and method for converting a non-powered vehicle model to a powered vehicle, in particular, a radio-controlled vehicle is disclosed. The conversion kit can include a chassis plate, a steering assembly having mountable connection to the chassis plate, a rear assembly having mountable connection to the chassis plate, a means for powering the vehicle model, and a means for attaching the chassis plate to a model shell. Also disclosed is a product produced by the conversion kit and/or method of the present invention.
