  • Patent number: 10892371
Abstract: A solar module construction comprises at least one pyramidal support unit with a triangular base and triangular lateral planes as well as photovoltaic units provided on at least one of the lateral planes of the support unit. The support unit includes a supporting frame which spans the triangular base by means of base struts and the lateral planes by means of lateral struts. At least one of the lateral planes is stretched over with a flexible material. On at least one lateral plane photovoltaic units in the form of flexible solar modules are installed on the membrane. A multiplicity of such solar module constructions together forms a solar module array, preferably with solar module pairs, which are composed of two solar module constructions and form a parallelogram.

  • Patent number: 9506060
Abstract: The disclosure relates to oligonucleotide compounds (oligomers) that target Myc mRNA in a cell, leading to reduced expression of Myc. Reduction of Myc expression is beneficial for the treatment of certain disorders, such as hyperproliferative disorders (e.g., cancer). The disclosure provides therapeutic compositions comprising oligomers and methods for modulating the expression of Myc using said oligomers, including methods of treatment.

Inventors: Rajanikanth Bandaru, Yixian Zhang, Zhengxing Qu, Lee Greenberger, Christopher Ott, James Elliott Bradner
  • Patent number: 9422740
Abstract: A system for retrofitting energy supply modules in the region of a traffic route is provided. Supporting cables extend transversely over the traffic route and support a plurality of solar panels, which can be mounted on the transverse supporting cables. Elongated mounting elements fastened to each support mast act to reinforce the support masts and accommodate electronic system components. The solar panels are adjusted about a horizontal and/or a vertical axis by means of cable sheaves. The supporting cables are fastened at a lower region of the support masts for instance with micropiles so that they can be tensioned. The forces exerted by the solar panels on the transverse support cables are conducted through the transverse supporting cables via at least one first redirection element and into the lower region of the support mast.
