  • Patent number: 11927152
Abstract: Various embodiments of a vortex thruster system is described herein that is configured to create at least three discrete thrust levels. In some embodiments, the vortex thruster system is configured to decompose a monopropellant and deliver the decomposed monopropellant into a vortex combustion chamber for generating various thrust levels. In some embodiments, the vortex thruster system includes a secondary propellant valve configured to deliver a secondary propellant into the vortex combustion chamber containing decomposed monopropellant to create a high thrust level. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also described.

  • Patent number: 7130613
Abstract: A method of reducing access to communication system resources by a fraudulent Mobile Station (102). The Mobile Switching Center (104) sends a message to the Authentication Center (106) to invoke a first authentication procedure. The Authentication Center responds with a message including the results of the first procedure, and possibly, parameters for performance of an additional authentication procedure. Based on the contents of the message, the Mobile Switching Center decides whether to delay call setup until after the additional authentication procedure has completed successfully or whether to initiate call setup in parallel with the additional authentication procedure.

  • Patent number: 6631260
Abstract: A method of the present invention includes an MSC (101) receiving (201) a request for a call. A call routing request indicating that no peripheral device interaction has taken place on the call is forwarded (203) to an HLR or home location register (107). The MSC receives (205) call routing instructions that direct the call to a peripheral device (109). The call is routed (211) to the peripheral device (109). The peripheral device (109) performs (213) a function for the call and routes (215) the call to the MSC. A message requesting call routing instructions and identifying the peripheral device is forwarded (203) to the HLR.
