  • Patent number: 11941734
Abstract: A robotic system may comprise a first robotic arm operatively coupleable to a first tool. The first tool has a first working end. The system may also comprise an image capture device, a display, and a processor. The processor may be configured to cause an image of a work site, which was captured by the image capture device from a perspective of an image reference frame, to be displayed on the display. The image of the work site includes an image of the first working end of the first tool. The processor may also determine a position of the first working end of the first tool in the image of the work site and render a tool information overlay at the position of the first working end of the first tool in the image of the work site. The tool information overlay visually indicates state information for the first tool. The processor may also change the tool information overlay while the first tool is in a first operational state by changing a brightness of the tool information overlay.

  • Patent number: 8098190
Abstract: An emergency locator beacon testing and communication system is described. The system uses privately-owned Local User Terminals which provide direct feeds to a privately-operated beacon information processor having dedicated on-line servers for consolidating and providing access to beacon test information. The system receives beacon signals relayed through the Cospas-Sarsat satellite system, correlates the beacons' unique identification numbers (UIN's) in the received signals to the UIN's of beacons known to be undergoing testing, collects the data transmitted by beacons under test, and displays beacon test results in a useful format on a user-friendly website.

  • Publication number: 20080191863
Abstract: An emergency event reporting apparatus operates in conjunction with a satellite-based data relay system. The emergency event reporting apparatus includes an emergency alert transmission system and an emergency alert management system. The emergency alert transmission system transmits emergency alert messages upon detection of an emergency event. The emergency alert transmission system includes one or more emergency alert sensors, an alarm control panel and an alarm beacon unit. The emergency alert sensors detect characteristics associated with the emergency event and generate sensor signals based thereon. The alarm control panel receives the sensor signals and generates alarm signals based thereon. The alarm beacon unit receives the alarm signals and transmits an alert message based on the alarm signals. The alert message includes identification information and alert message information regarding the alarm signals.
