Abstract: Various example implementations are directed to circuits, apparatuses, and methods for providing virtual computing services. According to an example embodiment, an apparatus includes a computing server configured to provide a respective group of virtual servers for each of a plurality of accounts. Each of the accounts has a respective set of domain names and a respective settings file. The apparatus also includes a domain name server (DNS). The DNS is to dynamically map a respective set of domain names for each account to network addresses of the respective group of virtual servers, provided for the account. The DNS performs the mapping according to a mapping function indicated in the respective settings file of the account. The respective settings file of a first account accounts includes a mapping function that is different from a mapping function included in the respective settings file of a second account.

Abstract: Security credentials associated with a first account maintained by a database system are authenticated. Based on authenticating the security credentials, a user interface element is provided to enable sharing of customer data associated with the first account with an application. A request to share customer data with the application is received. Based on the request, third-party data that is accessible by the first account is identified. The third-party data corresponds to a second account maintained by the database system. The second account corresponds to a third-party data provider. The application is enabled to access cloud data associated with the first account based on the request. The cloud data comprises the customer data and the third-party data.

Abstract: Systems and methods for managing a power budget are provided. The method includes designating, by a power budget manager implemented on at least one processor, each of one or more applications with an individual quality of service (QoS) designation, the one or more applications executable by the at least one processor, assigning, by the power budget manager, a throttling priority to each of the one or more applications based on the individual QoS designations, determining, by the power budget manager, whether a platform mitigation threshold is exceeded, and responsive to determining that the platform mitigation threshold is exceeded, throttling, by the power budget manager, processing power allocated to at least one application of the one or more applications based on the throttling prioritization.

Abstract: Various example implementations are directed to apparatuses and methods for providing data communications, and for monitoring and/or analyzing operations of computing data-communication servers. According to an example embodiment, an apparatus includes a processing circuit having an analysis circuit configured to retrieve operating state data for a plurality of servers. The analysis circuit determines an operating state of each of the servers for certain time periods. The operating state may be one of an up state, a warning state, and a down state. The processing circuit also may include a DNS subsystem associated with certain accounts which are linked to sets of received services, and provisionable resources such as servers. Further, an interface circuit may be included to provide a graphical user interface (GUI). For one or more of the servers, the GUI may displays a timeline having a respective time block for each of the plurality of time periods.

Abstract: A merchandise display includes a display base having a surface arranged to hold one or more longitudinal rows of product containers. The display base has either (i) an elevation of its back end higher than its forward end or (ii) a pusher arranged to urge product containers on the display surface toward the forward end. A retainer is mounted on the display proximate the forward end. The retainer is made as a single structure of at least one resilient material. The retainer is deflectable with reference to its mounting point to enable moving product containers onto and from the display surface by deflection. The retainer is sufficiently resistant to bending to retain a longitudinally full row of product containers on the product display surface.

Abstract: A trace analyte collection swab having a collection surface at least partially coated with a microscopically tacky substance to enhance pick-up efficiency is described. In embodiments, the truce analyte collection swab comprises a substrate including a surface having a trace analyte collection area and a coating disposed on the surface of the substrate in the trace analyte collection area. The coating is configured to be microscopically adhesive to collect particles of the trace analyte from a surface when the trace analyte collection area is placed against the surface. In one embodiment, the coating comprises Polyisobutylene.

Abstract: An automatic animal feeder includes a bowl, a base unit which accepts the bowl, a lid which may be closed to cover the bowl and prevent access to it, or opened about a hinge to allow access to the bowl, a lid control mechanism capable of keeping the lid closed, or opening the lid, the bowl including a profile on its outer surface, on the side furthest from lid hinge, and a base unit including a corresponding profile on its inner surface. The bowl profile and the base profile interlock when the bowl is positioned in the base unit, such that the side of the bowl with the profile is constrained against being lifted substantially vertically.

Abstract: A modular product display system has at least two vertically stacked layers. Each layer has at least one roller track supported on one longitudinal end by a rail such that the one longitudinal end is at a different elevation than the other longitudinal end. At least two vertical stacking side barriers are disposed at laterally spaced apart positions between the roller track in each of the vertically stacked layers. The vertical stacking side barriers have protrusions on an upper edge and a lower edge engageable with corresponding openings in the roller track. Either (i) the protrusions on at least one of the upper edge and the lower edge are displaced from a plane of the vertical stacked side barrier, or (ii) the vertical stacked side barriers between the at least two vertically stacked layers are laterally displaced from vertical stacked side barriers between further vertically stacked layers.

Abstract: An underwater vehicle module connector includes a first mating ring connected to a first module and including a first bulkhead sealing the first module, a first electrical connector extending outward from the first bulkhead, and a first coupling mechanism. A second mating ring is connectable to a second module and includes a second bulkhead sealing the second module, a second electrical connector extending outward from the second bulkhead, and a second coupling mechanism. The first and second couplers are configured to releasably couple the first mating ring to the second mating ring and mate the first electrical connector with the second electrical connector.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure may provide a streamlined process for performing operations, such as data sharing and data replication, using multiple accounts. A global identity (also referred to as an organization user) may be employed, where the global identity may have access to multiple accounts across the same or different deployments. The global identity may switch between accounts from its login session and perform various tasks in the context of different accounts without undergoing further authentication.

Abstract: A combination amplifier can include a “main amplifier circuit” for signal amplification, and a matching “compensation amplifier circuit” to monitor distortion in the main amplifier output signal. The compensation amplifier circuit provides a compensation signal to the main amplifier circuit to compensate for and servo out distortion therein. The compensation amplifier circuit includes a passive input network and an amplifier. The passive input network can connect to both the input and output nodes of the main amplifier circuit such that the input and output signals cancel within the passive input network, leaving only the low level distortion component introduced in the main amplifier. Thus, the compensation amplifier is then only operating on the low-level distortion introduced in the main amplifier to generate the compensation signal. Because the compensation amplifier is then only operating on the very low distortion signal, any distortion it introduces into the compensation signal is negligible.

An aggregate parameter for the workout attribute is generated based on both the first parameter and the second parameter. The first activity data and the second activity data generated during the workout session are transmitted to a remote server where a third parameter for the workout attribute is generated.
