  • Patent number: 11974105
Abstract: A noise canceling audio in/out device includes an audible in/out transducer operable to convert an audible noise signal to a noise signal and convert an audio transmit (TX) signal to an audible output signal. A transducer signal of the audible in/out transducer generated by the audio TX signal is affected by the noise signal. The noise canceling audio in/out device further includes a noise canceling circuit operable to convert a digital TX signal to a TX reference signal, compare the transducer signal with the TX reference signal to produce an analog comparison signal, where the analog comparison signal includes a representation of the audio TX signal and the noise signal, and regulate the transducer signal to substantially match the TX reference signal to remove the effect of the noise signal on the transducer signal.

  • Patent number: 11964158
Abstract: A pacemaker system includes a drive-sense circuit (DSC) operably coupled to a pacemaker lead. The DSC generates a pace signal including electrical impulses based on a reference signal. The DSC provides the pace signal via the pacemaker lead to an electrically responsive portion of a cardiac conductive system of a subject to facilitate cardiac operation of a cardiovascular system of the subject. The DSC senses, via the pacemaker lead, cardiac electrical activity of the cardiovascular system of the subject that is generated in response to the pace signal and electrically coupled into the pacemaker lead and generates a digital signal that is representative of the cardiac electrical activity of the cardiovascular system of the subject that is sensed via the pacemaker lead. The DSC provides digital information to one or more processing modules that includes and/or is coupled to memory and that provide the reference signal to the DSC.

  • Patent number: 11949244
Abstract: A device operative to transfer power wirelessly includes a drive-sense circuit (DSC), memory that stores operational instructions, and processing module(s). The DSC generates a drive signal based on a reference signal and provides the drive signal to a first coil via a single line and via a resonating capacitor, and simultaneously senses the drive signal via the single line, to facilitate electromagnetic coupling to a second coil to transfer power wirelessly to another device. The DSC also detects electrical characteristic(s) of the drive signal. The processing module(s) generates the reference signal and processes the digital signal to determine the electrical characteristic(s) of the drive signal. In some examples, the processing module(s) adapts the reference signal based on detection of the other device (e.g., based on interpreting the electrical characteristic(s) of the drive signal).

  • Patent number: 11937893
Abstract: Provided herein is a system and method for mitigating premature light deactivation of light deactivated adhesive drapes. One aspect provides a system comprising a drape, a photosensitive adhesive layer, a release agent, and an optical fiber mesh layer configured as a light pipe, where the system is adapted to be coupled to a tissue site and released therefrom upon or after exposure to an external stimulus such as certain wavelengths of light. Another aspect includes a pipe light pipe, as an alternative to the optical fiber mesh layer. The systems may have a removable blocking layer to prevent the photosensitive adhesive from being exposed to deactivation wavelengths prematurely. Another aspect provides a method for application and removal of a drape using the light pipe to transport or route light to the drape to deactivate the photosensitive adhesive layer and promote easy, clean, and less painful removal of the drape.

  • Publication number: 20230173045
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods for ranking tumor-specific neoantigens from a tumor of a subject that are suitable for subject-specific immunogenic compositions. Suitable tumor-specific neoantigens are tumor-specific neoantigens that are likely presented on the cell surface of the tumor, are likely to be immunogenic, are predicted to be expressed in sufficient amounts to elicit an immune response in the subject, optionally represent sufficient diversity across the tumor, and have relatively high manufacture feasibility. The present methods take a set of neoantigens (peptide vaccine candidates) and ranks the neoantigens in a way such that a group of top-ranked neoantigens simultaneously promotes cell-surface presentation of important neoantigens for Class I and Class II MHC molecules. The top-ranked neoantigens can then be further narrowed according manufacturability and/or other criteria.
