    Abstract: Paint spray booth wastes from clear oil-based coating compositions, such as lacquers, which have been collected in a water wash are easily detackified and removed from the wash water by contacting the wastes in the wash water with(1) a water-dispersible polymeric condensation reaction product of a urea or an amino triazine and an aldehyde and(2) a water-swellable clay.
