    Abstract: Biometric-based disabling of a mobile device is provided. The method includes enabling one or more biometric sensor(s) on a mobile device, and allowing setting of the biometric sensor(s) to enable use of the mobile device for a user. The method also includes providing disabling of one or more features of the mobile device for other users, and based on the biometric sensor(s) sensing an other user using the mobile device, automatically disabling the feature(s) of the mobile device, while allowing selected content on the mobile device loaded by the user to continue to be displayed or played on the mobile device for the other user. Disabling the feature(s) of the mobile device may include automatically placing the mobile device in a locked state to block any mobile device notifications, and to prevent the other user from interacting with the mobile device.
