  • Publication number: 20240350824
Abstract: A method of treatment of skin tissue with two laser devices of unequal wavelengths comprising the steps of: (1) activating the two laser devices simultaneously to produce two laser beams of unequal wavelength; (2) directing the two laser beams into a handpiece having a distal tip to direct the laser beams onto the skin tissue; (3) directing the two laser beams within the handpiece to an adjustable beam deflector; and, (4) the adjustable beam deflector directing the two laser beams onto the skin tissue to produce a pattern of laser spots simultaneously but separated from one another.

  • Patent number: 11722076
Abstract: In a drive system and method for operating a drive system, in which the drive systems includes an electromagnetically operable brake, an electric motor, e.g., a three-phase motor, and an electronic circuit, the brake has an energizable coil, e.g., a brake coil, the electronic circuit has a rectifier, an upper controllable semiconductor switch, a freewheeling diode, and a varistor, a direct voltage provided by a rectifier is able to be made available by closing or by a pulse-width-modulated actuation of an upper controllable semiconductor switch of the coil, and by opening the upper controllable semiconductor switch, a current driven by the coil in the de-excitation of the coil is freewheeling and/or flowing through the freewheeling diode and the varistor or through a component connected in parallel with the varistor.

  • Publication number: 20220404505
Abstract: A system for generating an image of a region of interest (ROI) from a flying aircraft using a light detection and ranging (lidar) system that includes a transmitter, a receiver, an inertial navigation system, a scanning system, and a system control and a data processing computer. The transmitter includes a pulsed laser. The receiver includes a sensor to detect light scattered and reflected from the ROI. The scanning system uses a field-of-view (FOV) of the transmitter and receiver to interrogate a field-of-regard (FOR) during a flight over the ROI, and the FOV angle is narrower than the FOR angle. The system also includes a software application that divides the ROI into collection unit (CU) areas, and for each CU determines area characteristics, estimates one or more flight paths required to collect CU area data, and determines settings of the sensor for collecting the CU area data.

  • Patent number: 11358635
Abstract: A reverse switch activation mechanism includes forward and reverse pedals connected to a control arm for pivoting the control arm in first and second directions. A cam surface extends from the control arm and activates a reverse switch if the reverse pedal is partially depressed. A transmission control rod is connected to the control arm through a lost motion slot and moves rearwardly if the reverse pedal is depressed further after activating the reverse switch. A control rod keeper on the control arm biases the control rod pin to a first side of the lost motion slot.
