  • Publication number: 20240315689
Abstract: Tissue repair systems which use knotless all-suture anchors and have the ability to lock multiple repair sutures within the anchor construct. The anchor construct includes a tension suture wrapped or looped upon itself to create an open eyelet, through which multiple repair sutures originating in soft tissue are passed. The location of the eyelet may be anywhere inside the all-suture anchor or adjacent to the exterior of the anchor body. Tensioning of the tension suture causes the eyelet to restrict movement of the repair sutures and secures them within or against the anchor body.

Abstract: A drainage device for a tank of an aircraft, comprising a drainage duct, a drainage valve positioned between the upstream and downstream ends of the drainage duct, a housing dimensioned to house at least the downstream end of the drainage duct and a hatch moveable between an open position and a closed position in which the hatch closes the housing. The hatch comprises a liquid store positioned on the inner face thereof, into which the drainage duct opens when the hatch is in the closed position. The liquid store collects and stores liquid coming out of the drainage duct in the event of leakage from the drainage valve. Also an aircraft with such a drainage device.

  • Publication number: 20220230509
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention set forth systems, apparatuses and methods for implementing anticipatory expanded game grids. Accordingly, a gaming device can be configured to include a video display configured to show a game grid having an initial size with number of columns and rows. When a certain triggering element is received in the game grid, non-active extended symbol positions are revealed above (or below) the game grid. These non-active extended symbol positions are maintained over the course of multiple gaming events until they reach the edge of the initial game grid. On a subsequent gaming event, these non-active extended bonus symbol positions thereafter become active and are used in the evaluation of the now extended game grid for at least this subsequent game.

  • Patent number: 10966705
Abstract: A knotless tissue repair assembly for attachment of tissue to bone includes an anchoring implant with a length of suture threaded therethrough. The implant is preferably a soft flexible three-dimensional structure. The implant may be actuated from a first elongate low profile shape into a second short radially expanded shape having a larger diameter than the hole through which it was placed. The suture extends through the anchor, through a tissue to be secured, and back through a designated suture-binding region or passageway within the anchor enabling the suture to be secured therein and without the need for a physician to tie a knot. Further tension applied to a suture leg approximates the tissue to the anchor until a desired tension or distance between the tissue and anchor is achieved.

  • Patent number: 10675142
Abstract: A tissue fixation device for securing soft tissue to bone includes an expandable outer sheath, and an inner screw in threaded cooperation with the sheath. The expandable sheath comprises opposing walls in hinged engagement. When the screw is inserted into in the sheath, the walls pivot outwardly about a distal hinge to compress a tissue graft against the bone hole, and to lock the device therein. An optional cortical button is secured across the bone hole entrance, and tethered to the fixation device to bolster fixation.

  • Patent number: 9814565
Abstract: A suture anchor device and method for attaching soft tissue to bone includes an anchor body and a suture locking wedge movably disposed within the anchor body. The suture locking wedge includes lateral portions which engage slots or windows in the anchor body. Tension applied to one limb of a suture causes the suture locking wedge to translate and rotate to a position which compresses the suture, thereby locking the suture in the anchor.

  • Publication number: 20150142110
Abstract: Systems for single tunnel, double bundle anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction include implant constructs and instruments. The implant constructs provide a combination of cortical fixation and bone tunnel aperture fixation. The implant constructs separate a graft into distinct bundles. The instruments are used to prepare shaped bone tunnels to receive the implant constructs and graft bundles. The instruments are also used to exercise and insert the ligament graft constructs. Methods for reconstructing the antero-medial and postero-lateral bundles of the anterior cruciate ligament may rely on a single femoral tunnel, single or double tibial tunnels, and one or more ligament grafts.
