  • Patent number: 8608808
Abstract: A subject-matter of the invention is a composition comprising a) at least one ortho-diphenol derivative, b) at least one specific metal derivative and c) at least one basifying agent, a method for dyeing keratinous fibers by treatment of the said fibers using the ingredients a), b) et c) and the use thereof for dyeing keratinous fibers. This hair dyeing method makes it possible to obtain better colorations which are more uniform, chromatic and lasting and which do not detrimentally affect the cosmetic properties of the keratinous fibers, starting from an extract of ortho-diphenols which are in particular natural.

  • Patent number: 8551189
Abstract: The subject of the invention is a composition for dyeing keratin fibers, comprising at least one 1,8-dihydroxynaphthalene derivative and at least one basifying agent other than aqueous ammonia; the use of the composition for hair dyeing and also the use of the composition in a dyeing process for keratin fibers. The composition according to the invention makes it possible to dye keratin fibers under mild oxidizing conditions even without using an oxidation base and an aromatic amine, while at the same time covering a broad color range with 1,8-dihydroxynaphthalene derivatives. The observed dyeing under oxidizing conditions operates under mild conditions of oxidation and/or basifying agent, in particular in the air, and does not produce any unpleasant odor.

  • Patent number: 8105394
Abstract: The invention relates to the dyeing of keratin fibers using azomethine direct dyes or reduced precursors of azomethine direct dyes of formula (I) and (II) obtained from 2-amino-3-hydroxypyridine. The invention relates to a dye composition comprising at least one azomethine direct dye or a reduced precursor of an azomethine direct dye, to a process for dyeing keratin fibers, using the said composition, and to their uses in the dyeing of keratin fibers. This composition allows a particularly stable and fast coloration to be obtained.

  • Patent number: 8083809
Abstract: The invention relates to the dyeing of keratinous fibres using azomethine direct dyes of formula (I) or reduced precursors of azomethine direct dyes of formula (II) obtained from 2-chloro-3-amino-6-methylphenol. A subject-matter of the invention is a dyeing composition comprising at least one chlorinated azomethine direct dye or one reduced precursor of a chlorinated azomethine direct dye, a method for dyeing keratinous fibres which employs the said composition and their uses in the dyeing of keratinous fibres. This composition makes it possible to obtain a particularly stable and consistent colouring.

  • Publication number: 20080198131
Abstract: A new pointing device implementation method that uses temperature sensors mounted on or in a personal computing device's pointing device or game console's game controller to collect and effectively send temperature information about the surface of the peripheral pointing device to the connected personal computing device or game console for use by the software running on the device. The software running on the personal computing device or game console connected to the peripheral pointing device or game controller also sends data instructions specifying the desired temperature for which the surface of the pointing peripheral should be. In response to the instructions sent by the game console or personal computing device, the device heats up or cools down to reflect the context of the video game or software running on the screen or display.

  • Publication number: 20080177748
Abstract: Structured query language server data sources often times have different language constructs for interacting with software data consuming clients. A unified structured query language data server is interposed in the network chain between the structured query language server data sources and the networked data consuming software clients to present an interface to retrieve networked data from different SQL database server types in one single structured query language to software consumers in the form of computer programs accessing the data on a network. These data consuming clients can now access any number of SQL database sources with one single set of structured query language commands through the invention which acts as a query language translating device, though not exclusively. The invention also provides a unified authentication method to access data in structured query language server data sources connected to it.
