  • Publication number: 20260020600
Abstract: There is disclosed an electronic water pipe comprising a heating chamber configured to heat a consumable product in use. The heating chamber has an air inlet to allow air to be drawn over the consumable product. A controller is configured to control heating of the consumable product in the heating chamber according to a predetermined heating profile over a time period of use, wherein the predetermined heating profile varies over time. The heating profile may be in the form of a sequence of heating phases. A sensor on the water pipe detects a discrete active usage event initiated by a user of the device, such as an inhalation event, and the controller is configured to alter heating of the heating chamber in response to detection of said active usage event. The sensor may be a bubble sensor, such as an accelerometer.

  • Patent number: 12473785
Abstract: A pressure pulse generator and an RSS may change the pressure of a fluid flow through a BHA. If the dogleg at the BHA is less than a target dogleg, then the pressure pulse generator goes into pass-through mode to increase the pressure at the RSS and thereby increase a pad force of the RSS steering pads, increasing the severity of the dogleg. If a downhole tool is stuck, then the pressure pulse generator and the RSS are simultaneously actuated to unstick the downhole tool. The RSS is used to generate and transmit pressure pulses to a downhole tool.

  • Publication number: 20250322121
Abstract: Techniques of distributed generator simulation, analysis, and report generation can include utilizing a core system in which data is managed for the end user automatically. Techniques can include scheduling and allocation of tasks to computers, and providing a simple plain text front-end interface to a user. This can allow a user to perform complex simulations, allocate to optimal computing resources, queue simulation tasks, annotate images, log non-compliance, and/or compile the report. Full reporting can be provided in multiple formats to allow a quick repeat of full studies with simulation changes. The process may be controlled by a human or an artificial intelligence, and task priority may be sorted between multiple engineers while easy changes in system snapshots may be made to use as a basis for system studies, or grid connection studies.

  • Publication number: 20240343147
Abstract: An electrified powertrain system including a battery pack, electric motor, and a local controller. In response to a connection of the battery pack to an offboard charging station having a station controller, the local controller receives a reported charging limit from and transmits an initial charge request signal to the station controller. The initial charge request signal is a request for charging power or current at the reported charging limit. The vehicle controller also detects a threshold oscillation of the charging limit during an active charging event during which the battery pack recharges. In response to the threshold oscillation during the active charging event, the vehicle controller temporarily reduces the initial charge request to a derated level.
