  • Patent number: 12645827
Abstract: A corporate information technology (IT) network can protect sensitive data sent to computers located outside of the IT network. For example, a customer of a company may control who can access his or her sensitive personal information by identifying his or her access preference included in an access control list, where the access preference describes a level of access that at least one remote employee or person may have to the customer's sensitive personal information. A data protection server may containerize the sensitive personal information and the access control list of the person in a data protection container. If a remote employee or a person requests access the customer's sensitive personal information, the data protection server may perform data protection related operations to provide the sensitive personal information to the remote employee or person.

  • Patent number: 12634279
Abstract: A refresh rate detection-based method and system of performing an authentication of video of a person in order to authorize access to a secured resource is disclosed. The user provides image data in which they present a secondary computing device which, in response to a signal from the authentication system, employ a dynamic refresh rate when displaying visual content. The system and method are configured to evaluate the image data to determine whether the dynamic refresh rate pattern is present. If a change in the refresh rate is present, the system determines the image is authentic and can verify an identity of the person. In some cases, the system can further be configured to then automatically grant the person access to one or more services, features, or information for which he or she is authorized.

  • Patent number: 12596779
Abstract: Authentication techniques are described to allow a person to be authenticated to interact with an organization, where a type of authentication can be determined based on an environment in which the person is located. For example, an authentication server can collect a status information related to a safety setting of a mobile device. The safety setting can be enabled, e.g., if a person is driving a vehicle. When enabled, the safety setting can prevent the person from performing one or more operations on the mobile device. Based on the collected status information, the authentication server can request the person to provide user information via the mobile device so that the authentication server can determine whether the person is authenticated to interact with an organization.

  • Patent number: 12566836
Abstract: Internet-of-Things (IoT) devices can be used to perform authentication related operations because IoT devices are prevalent in our society and because a server performing an authentication operation can communicate with IoT devices via the Internet. In a first example authentication technique, a server determines whether a person can perform an operation requested by the person based on whether the person performed an action on an IoT device, where the action is selected by the server and send to the person's user device. In a second example authentication technique, a server determines whether a person can perform an operation based on whether a person accurately identified an action performed by an IoT device, where the IoT device performs the action based on a command sent by the server.

  • Patent number: 12554249
Abstract: Documentation may be used to automatically create a set of scripts to be executed by a robotic process automation system. A machine learning engine may be used to identify patterns in a first documentation and to then derive a flowchart descriptive of a documented process, subprocess, or combination thereof. The flowchart is compiled into a script executable by the robotic process automation system.

  • Patent number: 12524582
Abstract: A system and method for implementing the deployment of sandbags so as to mitigate any damages when flooding is forecast. The system may use local weather information, local topographical information and current flooding conditions to produce a virtual map showing suggested sandbag deployment to mitigate flood damage. Such a virtual map is interactively displayed in a virtual home environment. The user interacts with the virtual home environment via an avatar. RFID tags, or any other suitable near field identification technology, are placed inside the sand bags such that the actual locations of the sandbags can be compared to the suggested deployment.

  • Patent number: 12505452
Abstract: The disclosure describes techniques to protect personal information stored on an electronic card with which an owner of the electronic card may be authorized to perform a transaction. For example, a point-of-sale (POS) device may receive protected data generated by an electronic card where the protected data may be used by a personal information server to identify the owner of the electronic card. The POS devices sends the protected data and transaction information to an authorization server that sends the protected data to a personal information server. The owner's personal information can be obtained or derived from the protected data by the personal information server and the personal information is sent to the authorization server. The authorization server can determine whether a transaction is authorized or unauthorized based on the transaction information obtained from the POS device and the personal information obtained from the personal information server.

  • Patent number: 12450969
Abstract: A system and method for transforming physical currency in the form of banknotes into digital currency is disclosed. The system includes a device that can scan and destroy banknotes, and send information about the destroyed banknotes to a digital currency minting system so that a corresponding value of digital currency can be created on a corresponding digital currency network. The device includes at least two optical devices, where one of the optical devices is displaced from a shredding assembly at a particular distance to ensure that a confirmation of destruction image including a serial number on the banknote can be captured at approximately the same time that a sufficient amount of the banknote has been shredded to render the banknote invalid for use as currency.

  • Patent number: 12452363
Abstract: A system and method for routing incoming calls to one of many connected devices on a premises (including within a building) based on determining the location of an intended recipient of the call uses machine learning. Images and/or audio from connected devices can be analyzed with neural networks and/or natural language processing to identify an intended recipient in a particular area of the premises. In addition, the system and method include monitoring device activity to use as a proxy for the location of the intended recipient. Also, recent device activity can be used to determine where an intended recipient may be on the premises.

  • Publication number: 20250306937
Abstract: A processor of an aspect includes decode circuitry to decode a first subset of instructions and a second subset of instructions. The decode circuitry is to concurrently decode at least two instructions of the first subset of instructions. The first subset of instructions is to be decoded into varying numbers of decoded instructions ranging from at least two to at least ten. The decode circuitry is only able to decode fewer instructions of the second subset of instructions at a time than the at least two instructions of the first subset of instructions. Each of the second subset of instructions is to be decoded into at least two decoded instructions. The processor also includes circuitry coupled with the decode circuitry to receive decoded instructions from the decode circuitry. Other processors, methods, systems, and instructions are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 12337845
Abstract: Methods and systems described herein are directed to automatedly detecting a vehicle accident occurrence based on a generated accident suspicion. An accident detection system can retrieve a myriad of information as data relating to a driver or a vehicle of the driver. The retrieved information can be assessed to determine assignment of a suspicion of a vehicle accident occurrence. The suspicion assignment can be based on, with respect to historical insurance data, predetermined thresholds and/or machine learning for the retrieved information. The retrieved information can be verified by auxiliary data remote from the driver or the vehicle of the driver. The accident detection system can verify the suspicion by dispatching one or more notifications to the driver, and in the absence of response, determine whether the suspicion is true via the collection of information for a suspected location of the accident or from individuals associated with the driver.
