Abstract: Technologies are described herein for a recess video display mounting system. The recess video display mounting system may be fixed to the front frame of a recess or nook to support the load of a mounted video display. The recess video display mounting system can include a center plate upon which a video display may be mounted. Adjustable plates can extend from either side of the center plate to be fixed to the side framing of the recess or nook. One or more adapter plates may extend from the top and/or bottom of the center plate to be fixed to the horizontal framing at the top and/or bottom of the recess or nook. The recess video display mounting system can support newer, larger, flat-panel video displays.
