  • Patent number: 12221321
Abstract: A method and a device for monitoring a state of a physical passenger transport system are described. The method includes monitoring the state of the passenger transport system using an actualized digital replica dataset (ADRD) which reproduces characterizing properties of components of the passenger transport system in an actual configuration in a machine-processable manner after assembly and installation thereof in a building. At least one detection device is arranged in the physical passenger transport system and detects changes in at least one characterizing property that occur due to wear. These changes are transmitted to the ADRD, wherein changes and change trends in the components are monitored and evaluated using calculations and/or using static and dynamic simulations.

  • Patent number: 11965782
Abstract: Described herein is a process for correcting an observed color difference between a color at a first gloss and the color at a second gloss different than the first gloss, said process comprising the steps of: (a) determining a first correction caused by a lightness (Y-value) of the color a first gloss; (b) determining a second correction caused by an inclusion of a first surface diffusion in gloss readings; (c) based on the first and second corrections, determining a specular correction caused by a difference in specular reflections from the color at the first gloss and the color at the second gloss; (d) determining tristimulus corrections based on the specular correction; (e) preparing corrected tristimulus values of the color at a second gloss; and (f) producing a paint composition for the color at the second gloss using the corrected tristimulus values.

  • Patent number: 11243151
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for carrying out bending tests on panel-shaped or beam-shaped samples (1), in which two rotary drives are arranged at a distance from one another and a flange (3) is fastened to each of the drive shafts of the rotary drives, said drive shafts being oriented parallel to one another. At least two bar-shaped bending elements (2) oriented parallel to the axis of rotation of the drive shafts and arranged at a distance from the axis of rotation and at a distance from one another are provided on each of the flanges (3). A panel-shaped or beam-shaped sample (1) can be introduced between the two bar-shaped bending elements (2) on the two flanges (3). In the event of rotation of the rotary drives in opposite directions of rotation, bending forces are exerted on the sample (1) and each of the two rotary drives can be controlled individually and connected to an electronic open-loop or closed-loop control unit.

  • Patent number: 9431985
Abstract: Techniques for controlling the volumes of multiple audio output devices using a collective (master) volume control and an individual volume control for each audio output device. In one set of embodiments, each individual volume control can be configured to indicate the current absolute volume level of its corresponding audio output device. When the master volume control is manually adjusted, the individual volume controls can be automatically adjusted in a manner proportional to the manual adjustment of the master volume control. In addition, when an individual volume control is manually adjusted to a setting or value that exceeds the master volume control, the master volume control can be automatically adjusted to be equal to, or greater than, the manually adjusted setting for the individual volume control. In this scenario, the other individual volume controls can remain unchanged.
