  • Patent number: 11844908
Abstract: A multi-sensory media experience delivery platform includes a vibroacoustic therapy bed that delivers a multi-sensory media experience locally stored, streaming, on-demand, or real-time signals. The vibroacoustic therapy bed drives a plurality of sensory output devices based on a set of sensory output channels to produce sounds, vibrations, light patterns, or other sensory outputs. The channels may be derived from dedicated signals created for a specific sensory output device or may be derived from an audio file or other general set of waveforms. The multi-sensory media experience may be customized to a user based on user profile data, metadata associated with the multi-sensory media experience, or biometric data. Furthermore, users can create customized multi-sensory media experiences from libraries of sounds or other media.

  • Publication number: 20220257461
Abstract: A vibroacoustic therapy bed delivers a sensory experience using integrated vibrational transducers, sounds, lighting effects, and/or other sensory elements. The vibroacoustic therapy bed includes a series of interconnected base elements and a pad. The vibroacoustic therapy bed is configurable between a flat configuration in which the base elements support a user laying on the pad and a stowable configuration in which the base elements pivot with respect to each other utilizing hinge connectors to form a compact structure suitable for stowing. The base elements may furthermore include an isolation element for attenuating transfer of vibrational energy from the vibrational transducers to the ground.

  • Publication number: 20180353208
Abstract: A sperm collection apparatus includes a housing defining an interior chamber and having a proximal opening at a proximal end of the housing and a distal opening at a distal end of the housing. An inner sleeve includes a gel-like material and is disposed within the housing. The inner sleeve defines an internal insertion channel that is sized for closely receiving a user's penis and has an insertion opening at the proximal opening of the housing.

  • Publication number: 20120131726
Abstract: A noise and light occluding sleep-enhancing device 10 is disclosed, the device having an elongated pillow portion 12 with attachment members 16, 18 disposed on opposite ends of said elongated pillow portion. When in use, the sleep-enhancing device surrounds a user's head, thereby suppressing both noise and light and providing a user with a comfortable pillow for the full lateral circumference of the user's head.

  • Publication number: 20060257231
Abstract: Galvanically protected reinforcement dowel pins and methods of producing the same. In one embodiment, the reinforcement dowel pins comprise a bar or tube, the longitudinal exposed surfaces of which are covered by a heavy gauge of a sacrificial metal, such as zinc, zinc alloy, magnesium, magnesium alloy, aluminum, or aluminum alloy. The bar or tube comprises steel, carbon steel, or other ferrous metal. The heavy gauge of sacrificial metal is applied to the ferrous metal by various processes, such as roll bonding, lock seaming, welding, die casting, flame spraying, plasma spraying, dipping, sinking, and drawing. The resulting reinforcement dowel pins resist corrosion without sacrificing structural integrity, and are reasonable in materials and manufacturing costs. These dowel pins may be installed in adjacent concrete panels using conventional methods, and therefore do not introduce additional costs in installation.
