Abstract: Systems, methods, computing platforms, and storage media for detecting a potential collision with a vulnerable object are described. Exemplary implementations may include a detection system coupled to the vulnerable object comprising a main unit, the main unit comprising a power device, a housing, a central processing unit, an internal memory device or a storage device, at least one of an optical sensor, a laser, an accelerometer, and an alarm, a wireless transmitter for exchanging data with a first object, a computing device, or another vulnerable object, and a communication device for communicating with a radar unit or a computing device. The radar unit comprises one or more antennas and detects the first object using millimeter wave or Extremely High Frequency radio frequencies and transmits an indication of the first object to the main unit via the wireless transmitter or the communication device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for direct e-commerce ordering on external websites is disclosed. Consumers may post a comment on the external website to initiate the purchase of an item or service from the corresponding e-commerce system. The system may scrub the comment system of the external website to locate the direct ordering request. The system may transmit the direct ordering request to the corresponding e-commerce system. The e-commerce system may process the direct ordering request to determine the associated consumer that submitted the request, and may process payment and complete the transaction.

Abstract: A closure assembly for a vehicle includes a closure hingedly connected to a vehicle-rearmost portion of a cargo area and adapted to pivot into a receiver provided in a portion of the cargo area. The receiver may be provided in a portion of a cargo area load floor or in a portion of a cargo area sidewall. The closure may include a bottom hinge and/or a side hinge, adapted to pivot the closure both vehicle-rearwardly and vehicle-forwardly. A cover may be provided to hide the closure in the stowed configuration.
