  • Patent number: 7685406
Abstract: A technique for reducing stack pointer adjustment operations when stack dependent operations, which correspond to stack dependent instructions, are encountered includes setting a stack pointer to an initial value for a stack. A number of bytes associated with the stack dependent operation is determined. A stack pointer delta is then modified based upon the number of bytes associated with the stack dependent operation. A current location in the stack is determined based on the stack pointer and the stack pointer delta.

  • Publication number: 20070024978
Abstract: A conformal beam steering device is provided which is adapted to steer an LOS beam from a broad spectrum over a significantly large FOR. The device size is optimized to have a minimal volume and output window footprint. The device includes a first prism positioned inboard a second prism, a diffraction grating on an outboard side of the first prism, and a diffraction grating on an inboard side of the second prism. Another embodiment includes a first prism positioned inboard a second prism, a first linear diffraction grating positioned inboard the first prism, the first linear diffraction grating having a grating disposed on an outboard side thereof, and a second linear diffraction grating positioned in between the first linear diffraction grating and the first prism, the second linear diffraction grating having a grating disposed on an inboard side thereof.

  • Publication number: 20070008455
Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided for selectively attenuating narrowband high intensity bright sources from an incoming light source in an imaging system creating a focal plane array. The method comprises receiving and conditioning incoming light in a at least one group of optics; receiving the into a line attenuation tunable optical filter (LATOF) which creates a rejection band; tilting the LATOF at least one increment to selectively attenuate the bright sources from the receive conditioned light; receiving the conditioned light and selectively attenuated light into an opto-electronic detector; and converting the light into an output for an electronic image, wherein saturation of the focal plane array decreases and contrast is restored in the electronic image.
