  • Publication number: 20160134422
Abstract: One embodiment includes an enterprise trust server (ETS) programmed to execute machine readable instructions. The ETS includes a user interface configured to initiate generation of a first file signature associated with a first file accessed from a file system associated with a computer system at a first time and generation of a second file signature associated with a second file accessed from the file system at a second time subsequent to the first time. The ETS also includes a file signature comparator configured to compare the first and second file signatures to determine a difference set of file signatures. The ETS can be configured to send a request comprising the difference set of file signatures to a trust repository and to receive a response that identifies a software product associated with the first and second files that changed between the first and second times based on the difference set of file signatures.

  • Publication number: 20160012226
Abstract: One embodiment includes a software identification system. The system includes an enterprise trust server configured to initiate a scan of at least one file of a file system of a computer system to generate a respective at least one file signature. The at least one file signature includes cryptographic hash data associated with file content of the at least one file. The system also includes a trust repository configured to receive the at least one file signature and to compare the at least one file signature, including the cryptographic hash data associated with the file content thereof, with predetermined file signature data that is stored in a software product reference storage. The predetermined file signature data can include cryptographic hash values associated with respective files in predetermined corresponding software products to enable identification of at least one software product with which the at least one given file is associated.

  • Publication number: 20150381305
Abstract: Techniques are described for adjusting the wavelength of a laser so that the laser transmits at the defined wavelength without needing feedback from an optical line terminal (OLT) and without needing tap filters that follows a tunable filter in the upstream transmission path.

  • Publication number: 20040024843
Abstract: A method and apparatus for provisioning distributed web applications includes a server receiving an identifier corresponding to a first user interface (UI) object to be displayed within a client browser, the server generating one or more client-side scripts designed to facilitate generation of a hierarchical client based object model, the hierarchical object model including a root object, a context object to store state information corresponding to at least one of the root object and one or more child objects, and a window manager to facilitate control of one or more display properties of at least one secondary UI window, the server delivering content and the one or more client-side scripts to the client, and the client generating hierarchical client based object model in response to the execution of the one or more client-side scripts.
