The conversion kit can include a chassis plate, a steering assembly having mountable connection to the chassis plate, a rear assembly having mountable connection to the chassis plate, a device for powering the vehicle model, and a device for attaching the chassis plate to a model shell. Also disclosed is a product produced by the conversion kit and/or method of the present invention.
