Abstract: Accessories for a deterrent device having an accessory mounting projecting from a support by a mounting projection distance along a mounting projection axis are provided. In one aspect, an accessory has an electronics module having an electronic system and a mounting portion adapted to engage to the accessory mounting with the mounting portion extending along the mounting projection axis by an accessory lateral projection distance when engaged to the accessory mounting and with the mounting portion positioning the electronics module so that the electronics module to extends along an axis parallel to the orthogonal axis by a lateral extent and is positioned by the mounting adjacent to the accessory mounting with the mounting portion having an accessory mounting projection distance is less than the projection mounting projection distance.
