  • Publication number: 20230381829
Abstract: A pressure washer includes a main line through which, via a high-pressure pump, liquid can be conveyed to a spray opening, and a main valve. The main valve, when in a closed state, prevents liquid from flowing through the main line and, when in an open state, allows liquid to flow through the main line. The main valve is switchable between open and closed via an operator-controlled element. The main line has a suction chamber between the connection and the pump and a pressure chamber between the pump and the spray opening. The pressure chamber is fluidically connected to the suction chamber via a bypass line. A free cross-sectional area of the bypass line is settable via a bypass valve in the bypass line for regulating pressure in the pressure chamber. The bypass valve is adjustable via the operator-controlled element for setting the free cross-sectional area of the bypass line.

  • Patent number: 11708235
Abstract: A hose reel unit for a high-pressure washer has a hose reel and a reel hose arranged in its receptacle. The hose reel is rotatable about an axis of rotation for winding and unwinding the reel hose. The first end of the reel hose is connectable to a supply line and the second end to a washer wand of the high-pressure washer. The hose reel has sidewalls delimiting the receptacle in a direction of the axis of rotation. The first end of the reel hose extends to the first sidewall and is coaxial to the axis of rotation. A guide device arranged between the sidewalls guides the reel hose such that the axis of rotation extends through the reel hose. The guide device is spaced apart form the first end of the reel hose at a support distance measured in a direction of the axis of rotation.

  • Publication number: 20230001457
Abstract: A high-pressure cleaning appliance includes a connection for a liquid source, a delivery pump, a motor for driving the delivery pump, a delivery line through which liquid can be delivered from the connection to a spraying-out opening of the delivery line via the delivery pump, and a valve which is arranged in the delivery line. The motor has two operating states. The two operating states include an off state and an on state. The valve has two valve states, wherein the two valve states include a closed state and an open state. In the closed state, the valve prevents a flow of liquid through the delivery line. In the open state, the valve allows a flow of liquid through the delivery line. The high-pressure cleaning appliance is structurally configured in such a way that the adjustment of the operating state of the motor is possible only if the valve is in the open state.

  • Publication number: 20220016654
Abstract: A high-pressure cleaning device has a conveying pump and a conveying conduit with a spray opening. The conveying conduit conveys cleaning liquid, conveyed by the conveying pump, in a conveying direction from the conveying pump to the spray opening of the conveying conduit. A switch element is provided that has at least a first switched state and a second switched state. An actuator is provided that adjusts the switch element between the first switched state and the second switched state. The high-pressure cleaning device is provided such that the actuator adjusts the switch element between the first switched state and the second switched state by an adjusting force effected by the cleaning liquid on the actuator.

  • Publication number: 20210121907
Abstract: A high-pressure washer has a housing and an actuator rotatably supported about an actuator rotation axis. A control element is arranged rotatably at the housing and is provided to control the actuator. The control element and the actuator are fixedly connected to each other for joint rotation by one or more universal joints.

  • Patent number: 9273658
Abstract: A handheld work apparatus includes a fuel tank, into which a flexible fuel line projects. A suction head is arranged at the free end of the fuel line. The suction head is connected via the fuel line to a fuel supply device of an internal combustion engine of the work apparatus. The suction head has at least one weight member. The weight member is formed at least partially as a magnet to achieve good cleaning of the fuel without a substantial increase in the weight of the work apparatus.

  • Patent number: 9175594
Abstract: A power tool has an internal combustion engine with a cylinder. An injection valve supplies fuel to the internal combustion engine. A fuel pump conveys fuel from a fuel tank to the injection valve. A fan wheel is provided that is driven by the internal combustion engine. The cylinder is arranged in a first cooling zone of the power tool and the fan wheel conveys cooling air through the first cooling zone. The fuel pump is arranged in a second cooling zone of the power tool. Between the first cooling zone and the second cooling zone a buffer zone is arranged. The buffer zone is separated by at least one first partition from the first cooling zone and by at least one second petition from the second cooling zone.
