  • Patent number: 12638067
Abstract: Tensioning devices with at least a portion of the tensioner face incorporating increased compliance of at least two pitch lengths in distance that meets compliance geometry requirements and applied force tensioner face stiffness requirements to decrease NVH through the incorporation of a cavity within the body of the tensioning deice, incorporation of a blade spring within the cavity of the tensioning device, incorporation of an elastomer within the cavity of the tensioning device, locating a compliance portion of the tensioner face at one end of the tensioner face of the tensioning device, and a spring utilized as a tensioning device with an elastomer face.

  • Publication number: 20250327507
Abstract: A bicycle chain which includes inner link plates which are formed to act as both a rotating joint for the pin and a supporting surface for the roller. Two internal links together form an internal link assembly, along with rollers and bushings. A device can be used to prevent clearance fit bushings from falling out of the apertures of inner link plates when the bicycle chain is in non-hooked up state. The device is present on an outer face of the inner link plates surrounding each of the apertures. The device is a partial ridge of non-continuous nodes or a ridge that surrounds that the aperture in its entirety. The device extends from the outer face and into the inner circumference of the aperture.

  • Patent number: 12078245
Abstract: A pattern for application to the face of the tensioner arm, guide or snubber in contact with a chain to intentionally break up the chain contact force between the back of the chain links and the tensioner arm, guide or snubber face. This is done to prevent alignment with the chain related orders which are causing NVH within the chain system or to increase overall NVH to obscure chain related orders.
