  • Patent number: 9967172
Abstract: Methods and systems for a transportation vehicle are provided. One exemplary method includes generating by a processor a master instruction set with a routing plan for loading data to and from a transportation vehicle using one or more networking links; creating by the processor a transportation side instruction set for loading and offloading data from the transportation vehicle, the transportation side instruction set being based on the master instruction set; using the master instruction set, the local instruction set and the transportation side instruction set to automatically load data to and from the transportation vehicle using the one or more network links to meet an objective of the master instruction set; and monitoring data loading to and from the transportation vehicle for making any changes to meet an objective of the master instruction set based on delivery time, cost or both delivery time and cost.

  • Patent number: 9955199
Abstract: Consumable data objects are transferred from a source server to a vehicle server. The availability of a first data communications link from the source server to a vehicle server is detected and a count of consumable data objects stored on the vehicle server is generated. If the first data communications link is detected, the count is transmitted to the source server over the link. An identifier of the vehicle server is derived from the first data communications link, and this identifier is associated with the count. A consumable data object replenishment count is generated based upon an evaluation of the count in relation to historic use data derived from past counts.

  • Patent number: 9557145
Abstract: A vehicle including a door and a ballistic protection device for a door having a ballistic protection element connected to the door via a device for automatically bringing closer and spacing apart the protection element when opening and closing the door, the device for bringing closer and spacing apart include at least one upper connecting arm and at least one lower connecting arm of the same length and hinged to the protection element and the door, so that the protection element and the door can be brought closer to and spaced apart from each other, while remaining parallel to each other, and at least one actuating arm, hinged to the at least one lower connecting arm and to a fixed part of the vehicle, so as to control, by action on the at least one lower connecting arm, the displacement of the protection element with respect to the door.

  • Patent number: 7257635
Abstract: A system and method for automatically allocating resources is provided. The system includes one or more components for automatically allocating one or more resources, based at least in part on data associated with the one or more resources, the data including at least one of, type data, instance data, characteristic data, and dynamically modifiable metadata. An alternative aspect of the system provides one or more components for automatically allocating one or more resources distributed on a plurality of resource allocation servers. The one or more components for automatically allocating the one or more resources can improve utilization of the capacity of the one or more resources. In an alternative embodiment the system includes an Application Programming Interface (API) operable to configure and/or control the one or more components for automatically allocating one or more resources.
