  • Publication number: 20260108219
Abstract: A heartbeat detecting handcuff device for monitoring the heartbeat of a detainee includes a pair of handcuffs which can be placed on a detainee's wrists by a law enforcement officer for restraining the detainee. A pair of heartbeat monitors is each integrated into a respective one of the pair of handcuffs. Each of the pair of heartbeat monitors can monitor the detainee's heartbeat when the pair of handcuffs are worn on the detainee's wrists. Each of the pair of heartbeat monitors includes an audible alert which emits an audible alarm when a respective heartbeat monitor detects a heartbeat that is displaying abnormalities. In this way the audible alert can audibly alert the law enforcement officer that the detainee is in need of medical attention.
