Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to two part adhesive compositions comprising a resin part including a curable resin selected from multifunctional, hydroxyl di-terminated polymer having alkene segments and epoxide segments in the polymer chain; an epoxy di-terminated block copolymer having siloxane moieties and bisphenol A moieties in the backbone and combination thereof and a hardener part including a curative for the curable resin. When mixed the compositions cure to a form that provides hardness but relatively low bond strength to a substrate and which can be removed from metal and other surfaces easily and simply with little residue.

Abstract: A two part curable composition comprising organosiloxane polymer; water; an organosilane such as hexamethyldisilazane (HMDS) or vinyltrimethoxysilane; crosslinker; adhesion promoter and catalyst; and optionally comprising plasticizer; colorant and filler. The first part can comprise organosiloxane polymer and water. The second part can comprise crosslinker; adhesion promoter and catalyst. Either or both parts can optionally further comprise an organosilane such as hexamethyldisilazane (HMDS) or vinyltrimethoxysilane; plasticizer; colorant and filler. Cured reaction products of the two part curable organosiloxane composition has good adhesion to metallic sealing surfaces and good resistance engine oil and other automotive fluids. Cured reaction products of the two part curable organosiloxane composition can surprisingly retain physical properties after long-term exposure to temperatures between 200° C. and 250° C. and can retain physical properties after exposure to temperatures between 250° C. to 300° C.

Abstract: Disclosed is a moisture curable adhesive composition comprising at least one silane-modified polymer, a filler comprising a surface modified fumed silica and one of a surface modified cristobalite and a silica; and optionally, at least one of an aminosilane adhesion promotor, an organotin catalyst, a dehydration shelf life enhancer, a light stabilizer, titanium dioxide, a rheology modifier, and mixtures thereof. The adhesive composition finds special use in bonding metal substrates to each other with significantly higher bond strength than that provided by silane-modified polymer adhesives alone.
