  • Patent number: 11957471
Abstract: A system is provided for displaying heart graphic information relating to sources and source locations of a heart disorder to assist in evaluation of the heart disorder. A heart graphic display system provides an intra-cardiogram similarity (“ICS”) graphic and a source location (“SL”) graphic. The ICS graphic includes a grid with the x-axis and y-axis representing patient cycles of a patient cardiogram with the intersections of the patient cycle identifiers indicating similarity between the patient cycles. The SL graphic provides a representation of a heart with source locations indicated. The source locations are identified based on similarity of a patient cycle to library cycles of a library cardiogram of a library of cardiograms.

  • Publication number: 20230372020
Abstract: Systems are provided for generating data representing electromagnetic states of a heart for medical, scientific, research, and/or engineering purposes. The systems generate the data based on source configurations such as dimensions of, and scar or fibrosis or pro-arrhythmic substrate location within, a heart and a computational model of the electromagnetic output of the heart. The systems may dynamically generate the source configurations to provide representative source configurations that may be found in a population. For each source configuration of the electromagnetic source, the systems run a simulation of the functioning of the heart to generate modeled electromagnetic output (e.g., an electromagnetic mesh for each simulation step with a voltage at each point of the electromagnetic mesh) for that source configuration.

  • Publication number: 20230075266
Abstract: A method may include identifying a simulated three-dimensional representation corresponding to an internal anatomy of a subject based on a match between a computed two-dimensional image corresponding to the simulated three-dimensional representation and a two-dimensional image depicting the internal anatomy of the subject. Simulations of the electrical activities measured by a recording device with standard lead placement and nonstandard lead placement may be computed based on the simulated three-dimensional representation. A clinical electrogram and/or a clinical vectorgram for the subject may be corrected based on a difference between the simulations of electrical activities to account for deviations arising from patient-specific lead placement as well as variations in subject anatomy and pathophysiology.

  • Publication number: 20230005625
Abstract: A non-invasive method for cardiac arrhythmia risk stratification may include identifying, based at least on an electrical recording of a patient, a cardiac depolarization simulation and a cardiac repolarization simulation corresponding to an electrical recording of a patient. One or more regions of increased spatial repolarization gradient in which a first area of a myocardium of the patient exhibits a first repolarization rate that differs from a second repolarization rate of a second area of the myocardium by an amount then divided by the spatial distance between the two regions, by a threshold value may be determined based on the cardiac depolarization simulation and the cardiac repolarization simulation. A risk of cardiac arrhythmia for the patient may be determined based a magnitude of the increased spatial repolarization gradient. Moreover, a treatment plan for the patient may be determined based on the magnitude and/or location of the increased spatial repolarization gradient.

  • Publication number: 20220061732
Abstract: Methods to enhance the computational localization of cardiac arrhythmia sources are provided. A method may include receiving, from a first user, clinical data associated with a clinical case. The clinical data may include a patient anatomic information, diagnostic and/or treatment modalities, treatment parameters, treatment outcome, and medical literature. The clinical case may be indexed based on a first plurality of characteristics associated with the clinical data. The indexing may include associating at least a portion of the clinical data with a computational simulation of cardiac arrhythmia having a second plurality of characteristics matching the first plurality of characteristics. At least a portion of the clinical data associated with the indexed case may be provided to a second user in response to a query from the user. Related systems and articles of manufacture are also provided.
