Patent number: 10996547Abstract: A directionally adjustable magnetic mounting system is disclosed for use with a small electronic device such as a wireless camera. The mounting system includes a camera mount having a mounting surface configured to selectively and alternatively magnetically engage any one of a plurality of mount engaging locations on the electronic device in an angular orientation that is variable relative to a longitudinal centerline of the camera mount. Also disclosed is a method of using the mounting system.Type: GrantFiled: September 20, 2018Date of Patent: May 4, 2021Assignee: Arlo Technologies, Inc.Inventors: John Kui Yan Ramones, Christopher Vincent Fonzo, Beau Oyler, Dayne Nathaniel Tanner

Patent number: 10718996Abstract: An electrical pathway is formed between a receiving port located on an outer surface of the casing and the electronic device module received therein, such that a power supply may pass from a power connector that is magnetically attached to the port, to the electronic device module via the intermediate casing. The casing and electronic device modules further cooperate to form a module separation assembly that may be activated to remove or eject the electronic device module from within the casing.Type: GrantFiled: December 19, 2018Date of Patent: July 21, 2020Assignee: Arlo Technologies, Inc.Inventors: John Kui Yin Ramones, Christopher Vincent Fonzo, Beau Oyler, Dayne Nathaniel Tanner

Patent number: 10544909Abstract: A light transmission device includes body that extends between a generally planer lower rim that is configured to collect light from a light source, and an upper rim that is configured to emit the light. The upper rim may be elliptical and emit the light in a generally uninterrupted elliptical light emission pattern, even if the light is transmitted to the lower rim in a linear or other non-elliptical pattern. The light transmission device may be located within a wireless networking device with wireless antennas located between the lower and upper rims of the body.Type: GrantFiled: October 11, 2017Date of Patent: January 28, 2020Assignee: Netgear, Inc.Inventors: John Kui Yin Ramones, Christopher Vincent Fonzo

Patent number: 8226419Abstract: The present invention provides a computer port interface apparatus having a compound swivel. The apparatus comprises: a computer port connector portion configured for mated coupling with a computer port, a compound swivel portion, and a peripheral portion operatively coupled to the computer port connector portion. The peripheral portion may include an integral peripheral device or a connector for mated coupling with a device. The computer port connector portion and peripheral portion extend at angles from opposing ends of the compound swivel portion. The compound swivel portion comprises two or more swivels in series. Each swivel is operatively coupled to a swivel stop assembly configured to limit relative rotation of the swivel to a predetermined range. Swivelling allows reorientation of the peripheral portion and a device coupled thereto to facilitate operation. Swivel stop assemblies protect portions of the apparatus and/or facilitate operation.Type: GrantFiled: September 28, 2010Date of Patent: July 24, 2012Assignee: Sierra Wireless, Inc.Inventor: Christopher Vincent Fonzo
