  • Patent number: 11178215
Abstract: A translation service is used to modify service requests by translating client-provided external identifiers for objects into canonical identifiers for the objects (e.g., an identifier used by the service to uniquely identify the one or more objects). The translation service first receives specification data for a particular service. The specification data includes information for translating external identifiers for one or more objects to canonical identifiers for the one or more objects. The translation service instantiates a translation layer for the particular service, based on the received specification data. The translation layer receives a request directed to the particular service, translates the external object identifiers to canonical object identifiers, adds the canonical object identifiers to the request, and forwards the request to the particular service.

  • Patent number: 10827026
Abstract: A method and apparatus for eviction of session data from a cache are disclosed. In the method and apparatus, an aspect of data of a plurality of aspects of data is associated with a corresponding set of conditions for eviction of a plurality of sets of conditions for eviction from a cache. The set of conditions for eviction corresponding to the aspect of the plurality of aspects of the data are evaluated and the aspect of the data of the plurality of aspects of the data is evicted from cache based at least in part on the evaluation.

  • Patent number: 10246255
Abstract: A multi-dimensional automated storage and retrieval system is provided herein that enables the space-efficient storage of containers within a three-dimensional lattice structure. Each container includes one or more drivers to engage with rails of the three-dimensional lattice structure, enabling the container to slide along the rails based on a propulsion system. A control device is provided to selectively engage each container to a desired rail of the lattice structure, and to provide power to the propulsion system, thereby moving the container to a desired location within the lattice structure. Due to the high storage efficiency of the disclosed automated storage and retrieval system, the system may be utilized in space-sensitive applications, such as vending machines for physical goods or in cargo vehicles such as trailers.

  • Patent number: 10243792
Abstract: A system may be configured to provide a service for performing various actions on behalf of clients. The clients may be associated with diverse properties such as location, language, and legal jurisdiction. A service may be adapted to respond to a diversified client base. Properties of the client may be identified. A client capability enumeration may be loaded and used to identify transformation operations that may be performed on requests to the service and replies to the client. Transformation operations may be applied in a transmutation pipeline that modifies the input to and the results of an action.

  • Patent number: 10051079
Abstract: A method and apparatus for utilizing a session service cache to provide a session to a client device are provided. In the method and apparatus, a cache is populated with a plurality of aspects of data pertaining to a communication session between a session service and the client device. A request to retrieve an aspect of the data is received from a backend service and the backend service is identified based at least in part on the request. The aspect of the plurality of aspects corresponding to the backend service is retrieved and provided to the backend service.

  • Patent number: 10044827
Abstract: A method and apparatus for trigger-based cache population are disclosed. In the method and apparatus, a trigger for populating a session cache is detected and the session cache is populated with a plurality of aspects of data as a result of detecting the occurrence of the trigger. The plurality of aspects of the data are associated with a session established with a session service.

  • Patent number: 9998564
Abstract: An exemplary embodiment for translating requests from a client application includes a network server that is directed to receive a request from the client application and provide a customized response to the client application. The client application includes additional headers in the request which are not standard for an application protocol used in transmitting the request in order to transmit additional relevant information to the network server to get the customized response.
