  • Patent number: 11919028
Abstract: A fluid atomizer and methods of atomizing fluids are disclosed. The fluid atomizer may comprise an inner member and one or more outer members. The inner member defines an interior conduit for providing a first-fluid flowpath from a supply end of the atomizer to a discharge end of the atomizer along a central axis. The one or more outer members are positioned radially outward of the inner member from the central axis. The inner and outer members define a second-fluid flowpath extending from a second-fluid supply conduit to a second-fluid discharge plenum. The second-fluid flowpath comprises a tangential conduit spiraling along the axis from the second-fluid supply conduit to a terminal end; an annulus downstream from and in fluid communication with the tangential conduit; and a second-fluid discharge plenum downstream from and in fluid communication with the annulus.

  • Patent number: 11823260
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for regulating a loan managed by a loan accounting system that includes steps of: detecting a new action affecting a logical history of a loan managed by the loan accounting system, with the new action representing a new event in a loan process of the loan; identifying a first series of events related to the logical history of the loan affected by the new action; automatically calculating states of the loan based on a plurality of actions each associated with an event of the first series of events, wherein at least two of the actions have a causal relationship with one another; and automatically recalculating and updating a physical history of the loan based on the calculated states of the loan with the physical history including a second series of events that is different than the first series of events.

  • Publication number: 20230355674
Abstract: The disclosed methods are generally directed to preventing, treating, suppressing, controlling or otherwise mitigating side effects of T-cell therapy, the T-cell therapy designed to accelerate immune reconstitution, induce a graft-versus-malignancy effect, and/or target tumor cells. In some embodiments, the present disclosure provides delivery vehicles including components adapted to knockout HPRT. In some embodiments, the delivery vehicles include a gRNA molecule and an endonuclease, e.g. a Cas protein. In some embodiments, the gRNA molecules target locations within Exons 2, 3, or 8 of the HPRT 1 gene.

  • Patent number: 11786909
Abstract: A method of adapting a centrifugal machine that is a dual asymmetric centrifugal mixer or a planetary mill, used for mixing materials, for grinding one or more materials; it includes positioning in a container of the machine, non-spherical grinding media, and securing a lid on the opening of the container, wherein the bases of the units of the non-spherical grinding media are prevented from toppling by having a shortest distance between the center of mass of the unit of non-spherical grinding media and a base be less than half of the width of the base; or securing the lid sufficiently near the top of the units of the non-spherical grinding media such that when a unit of the non-spherical grinding media tilts, the unit of the non-spherical grinding media contacts the lid, the lid acting as an obstacle preventing the unit of the non-spherical grinding media from toppling.

  • Publication number: 20230034832
Abstract: A protective drape for a medical procedure may include a protective sheet including an interior surface, an exterior surface, a first end, a second end, a first side, and a second side. A first flap is coupled to the interior surface of the protective sheet so as to form a pocket at the first end of the protective sheet. The first flap includes an outer edge positioned away from the second end of the protective sheet and connected to the protective sheet, and a first lateral edge that is connected to the protective sheet so as to form a sealed periphery of the pocket that extends over the outer edge and a first lateral edge of the first flap.

  • Publication number: 20230008619
Abstract: A heat exchanger for heating a fluid that exhibits simplified manufacturing, a reduced construction size, and/or an increased heating efficiency. The heat exchanger has at least two distanced tube bodies through which a flow path of the fluid leads. A thin-film resistor is applied on the outer surface of at least one of the tube bodies with an interface made of a thermal interface material located between the thick-film resistor and the next neighboring tube body.
