  • Patent number: 11957486
Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments, systems, apparatus, interfaces, methods, and articles of manufacture are provided for ascertaining aspects of a user, such as the users identity, competence, health, and state of mind. In various embodiments, data is captured about a user via a headset worn by the user. Based on the data, a determination may be made about an aspect of the user, and the user may accordingly be granted or denied access to a resource.

  • Publication number: 20240073322
Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments, systems, apparatus, interfaces, methods, and articles of manufacture are provided for providing information incorporating additional data feeds, creating common arrangements, and improving performance in a virtual meeting. In some embodiments, a video conferencing system hosts a customized video conferencing and includes video conference settings data, participant display device data, supplemental data feed data, and processing instructions. The video conferencing system may identify (based on the video conference settings data) a number of data feeds for display on a display screen of each participant in a video conference and (based on the participant display device data) a screen specification for each display screen of each participant. The system may then compute an arrangement for the number of data feeds that fits within an available display area.

  • Publication number: 20240069439
Abstract: IR-sensitive lithographic printing plate precursors provide a stable printout using a unique IR-sensitive image-recording layer. The IR radiation-sensitive layer includes: component (1) a free radical initiator composition; component (2) a free radically polymerizable composition; and component (3) a color-changing compound of Structure (I) having an indene structure in the conjugated chain between the aromatic terminal groups. A specific group, such as a halo group, is directly or indirectly attached to this indene structure. The infrared radiation-sensitive image-recording composition and layer also contains one or more borate ions. After infrared imaging, these precursors exhibit desirable fresh or initial printout and printout after dark storage. The precursors can be developed on-press.

  • Patent number: 10974691
Abstract: A self-locking belt retractor for a seat belt device of a motor vehicle with a belt shaft body and a profile head, and a blocking device with a blocking catch mounted on the profile head. When activated, the blocking device engages in a blocked position with a vehicle-affixed interlock for the purpose of blocking the belt shaft in the belt extension direction. A force-limiting device is disposed in the force transmission path from the belt shaft body to the blocking catch. The profile head is made as two parts, with a carrier component and an insert component which are affixed together. The insert component exhibits a higher resistance to deformation than the carrier component and, when the belt shaft is blocked, forms part of the force transmission path between the blocking catch and the force-limiting device.

  • Patent number: 10488936
Abstract: This relates to a device that detects a user's motion and gesture input through the movement of one or more of the user's hand, arm, wrist, and fingers, for example, to provide commands to the device or to other devices. The device can be attached to, resting on, or touching the user's wrist, ankle or other body part. One or more optical sensors, inertial sensors, mechanical contact sensors, and myoelectric sensors can detect movements of the user's body. Based on the detected movements, a user gesture can be determined. The device can interpret the gesture as an input command, and the device can perform an operation based on the input command. By detecting movements of the user's body and associating the movements with input commands, the device can receive user input commands through another means in addition to, or instead of, voice and touch input, for example.

  • Publication number: 20190095948
Abstract: A page may be monitored for compliance with a promotion regulation and/or policy by obtaining a promotion descriptor comprising a sequence of tokens corresponding to particular promotional content. Once a content page displaying several promotions is identified, a document-object-model is generated. Using the sequence of tokens, a selected content node of the document-object-model is selected as containing several child content nodes that collectively match the promotion descriptor and therefore correspond to the particular promotional content as distinguished from several other displayed promotions displayed on the page. A record is stored to associate the selected content node with the promotion descriptor. The selected content node is provided for display to a compliance monitor along with a compliance-status control for assigning a compliance status to the selected content node with respect to the particular promotional content and a promotion regulation.
