Publication number: 20240160771Abstract: An example method includes receiving, at a CPU, a data request from a data requester to search or filter data in a repository. At least a first portion of the data is homomorphically encrypted. The method includes analyzing the stored data without decrypting the homomorphically encrypted data to determine an aggregated subset of data relevant to the data request. The analyzing includes: dispatching, from the CPU, a command to a hardware accelerator to execute an operation on the homomorphically encrypted data; executing, at the hardware accelerator, the operation on the homomorphically encrypted data; and receiving, at the CPU, an output of the execution of the operation by the hardware accelerator, where the aggregated subset of data is based on the output. The method includes providing data request results that include or are derived from the aggregated subset of data to the data requester.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 27, 2022Publication date: May 16, 2024Inventors: Adam Wesley Hansen, Christopher Glenn Hansen

Publication number: 20240136651Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for a battery system which comprises a plurality of battery cells housed inside a battery enclosure of a battery pack, a venting system, and a suppressing agent. The venting system comprises a dual-staged venting valve that equalizes pressure during normal operation of the battery system and a vent valve that opens to relieve pressure during a high pressure or temperature event. The suppressing agent is released into the enclosure of the battery pack to reduce further reactions by removing or limiting oxidants within the battery pack. A solenoid is coupled to the dual-staged venting valve and seals the dual-staged venting valve following release of the suppressing agent, allowing for the suppressing agent to remain in the enclosure for a longer period of time in order to provide increased mitigation of future thermal events in the battery enclosure.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 24, 2023Publication date: April 25, 2024Inventors: Louisa OUALIM, Christopher M. Patent number: 11940254Abstract: A projectile designed to be lead-free and have a ballistic coefficient ranging from about 0.13 to about 0.80 or greater for enhanced energy/performance at extended ranges may have an elongated body formed with a jacket including a wall having an end defining an ogive portion and a cavity or recess defined within the jacket and in which a core is received. The projectile can be configured in various calibers and sizes. The projectile core may be formed from a plurality of core sections, and at least one of the plurality of core sections may include tungsten powder and a lead-free binder material pressed together to form a substantially cylindrical shape or compact. One or more of the core sections further can be sintered, and the one or more core sections may be received in an end-to-end relationship within the cavity defined by the jacket to form a stacked, sectional core.Type: GrantFiled: July 11, 2022Date of Patent: March 26, 2024Assignee: Barnes Bullets, LLCInventors: Jason Wesley Robbins, Carl Carter, Christopher Creed Crosby, Gregory S. Publication number: 20230080610Abstract: A network management system (NMS) automatically determines locations of deployed access points (APs) in a wireless network. The system identifies clusters of APs, wherein each AP in a cluster is a member of at least one robust quad, and wherein each robust quad in the cluster has three APs in common with another robust quad in the cluster. The NMS identifies one of the plurality of clusters as a gxlobal cluster and the remaining plurality of clusters as local clusters. The NMS determines coordinates of each node in the global cluster based on the coordinates of the anchor APs in the global coordinate system. For each local cluster, the NMS transforms the coordinates of each AP from the respective local coordinate system to the global coordinate system.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 11, 2022Publication date: March 16, 2023Inventors: Mohammad Zohoorian, Christopher Wesley Wright, Nagarjun Srinivasan, Jie C Jiang, Kevin Friday, Shmuel Shaffer
