Abstract: Features are described for efficiently and accurately identifying a user of an electronic device with limited user interaction. The features include receiving a mobile device identifier from the mobile device. The features include transmitting the mobile device identifier to a service provider associated with the mobile device. The features include receiving information identifying the user from the service provider. The features include identifying a set of candidates associated with at least a portion of the information. The features include generating a metric for the candidates included in the set of candidates. An individual metric indicates a degree of relatedness between a value for the user for the at least one data field and a value for a candidate for the at least one data field. The features include identifying the user as a specific candidate included in the set of candidates based on the metric corresponding to a threshold.

  • Patent number: 9824377
Abstract: Methods and systems for round-robin e-mail scheduling are disclosed. A plurality of e-mail addresses, comprising a first e-mail address and a second e-mail address, are acquired. A first e-mail is sent to the first e-mail address. It is automatically determined whether the first e-mail was successfully delivered to the first e-mail address. If the first e-mail was not successfully delivered to the first e-mail address, a second e-mail comprising the same message content is automatically sent to the second e-mail address.

  • Patent number: 9230245
Abstract: Methods and systems for deliverability-based e-mail sending are disclosed. A plurality of e-mail addresses for a user are acquired. For each of the e-mail addresses, a connection between a sending computer system and a receiving computer system is opened. A likelihood of successful e-mail delivery is determined for each of the connections. The connection having the highest likelihood of delivery is automatically selected. An e-mail is sent using the selected connection, and the other connections are closed without sending an e-mail.

  • Patent number: 7939090
Abstract: The invention relates to the treatment of cancer, and particularly to the treatment of cancers of the central nervous system, such as glioblastoma multiforme. A dual therapeutic approach is provided, including the administration of a dendritic cell-based cancer vaccine and a regimen of chemotherapy. The two therapies may be administered concurrently with one another and/or with an initial vaccination preceding chemotherapy. In various embodiments, the dendritic cell-based cancer vaccine includes either primed or unprimed dendritic cells; for instance, the dendritic cells may be autologous tumor antigen-presented dendritic cells. • Publication number: 20080010721
Abstract: A lining for use under head gear—such as baseball hats, top hats, helmets, cowboy hats, hard hats, beanies, stocking caps, etc.—comprised of two layers, one specifically for comfort, in both softness and breathability, and a second specifically for the filtering of salt, dirt, oils, particulate matter and other undesirable constituents contained in the sweat of the wearer. The two layers are each comprised of four roughly equal pieces of an isosceles triangular shape that are stitched together to form a half-dome. The two layers are then stitched together along the bottom circumference of said dome two form a single half-dome comprised of two individual layers. The two layers employ their relative absorbency to transport moisture from the head of the wearer and into the lining. The outer layer employs its maximal surface area to filter and store the sweat of the wearer, while maintaining breathability.
