  • Publication number: 20240217361
Abstract: A holster for an electric charging station includes a substantially rigid base and a socket pivotably disposed in the substantially rigid base. The socket has a first, stowed position and a second, engaged position. The socket pivots about a loaded hinge. A biasing spring, which may be a leaf spring, produces a first force that urges the socket towards the first, stowed position. When an electric power coupler is disposed within the socket, a second force overcomes the first force and moves the socket towards the second, engaged position.

  • Patent number: 12009854
Abstract: A case for a mobile device includes a frame and an elastomeric shell. The elastomeric shell is received in the frame and has an outer surface, an inner surface opposite the outer surface and configured for receiving the mobile device, and a rim extending between the outer surface and the inner surface. The inner surface forms inner projections each having an inner extremity extending toward an inside of the elastomeric shell and each being configured for contact with the mobile device when arranged in the inner surface. The outer surface forms outer projections defining respective outer projection extremities and forms outer troughs extending between the outer projections and defining outer trough extremities. The outer projections extend toward a frame inner perimeter of the frame such that each of the outer trough extremities is spaced further from the frame than adjacent ones of the outer projection extremities.

  • Publication number: 20230275612
Abstract: A foldable case is configured for removably receiving a separate and distinct mobile electronic device having a front device surface, a rear device surface opposite the front device surface, and a periphery extending between the front device surface and the rear device surface. The case includes first and second cover members and opposing hinge members. The first and second cover members include respective first and second rear walls, respective first and second peripheral rims, and respective first and second sidewalls extending between the respective rear walls and the respective peripheral rims and thereby define respective first and second recesses configured for receiving respective first and second portions of the device. The opposing hinge members each extend between adjacent locations at the respective peripheral rims of the first and the second cover members to hingedly connect the first and the second cover members.
