  • Patent number: 12242886
Abstract: A graphics processing system with a data store includes processing units for processing tasks. A check unit forms a signature which is characteristic of an output from processing a task on a processing unit, and a fault detection unit compares signatures formed at the check unit. Each task is processed first and second times at the processing units to generate first and second processed outputs. The graphics processing system write outs the first processed output to the data store, reads back the first processed output from the data store and forms at the check unit a first signature characteristic of the first processed output as read back from the data store; forms at the check unit a second signature characteristic of the second processed output, compares the first and second signatures at the fault detection unit, and raises a fault signal if the signatures do not match.

  • Patent number: 12229396
Abstract: Reduced-size user interfaces for providing weather information are disclosed. At an electronic device with a touch-sensitive display, indications of a location and a temperature at the location may be displayed. In some examples, a user may provide input through a touch on the touch-sensitive display and/or through a rotation of a rotatable input mechanism to display additional weather information, such as weather information for another location, another temperature, another time, and so forth. In some examples, the device may obtain data representing an upcoming activity, determine whether the activity is to begin within a threshold amount of time, and display weather information based on the upcoming activity. In some examples, the device may display an affordance at a position to indicate the time of day for which a weather condition is provided.

  • Publication number: 20250044924
Abstract: An electronic device displays a compass user interface with a direction indicator and a bearing indicator. The direction indicator provides an indication of a respective compass direction, wherein the appearance of the direction indicator is determined based on the orientation of the electronic device relative to the respective compass direction. The bearing indicator provides an indication of an offset from the respective compass direction. While displaying the bearing indicator, the electronic device detects rotation of the rotatable input mechanism and, in response, changes the displayed position of the bearing indicator from a first position to a second position by an amount that is determined in accordance with a magnitude of the rotation of the rotatable input mechanism.
