The control mechanism (10) includes a motor (12), a gear arrangement (14) operably connected to the motor (12); and an actuator (15) operably connected to the gear arrangement (14). In use, the actuator (15), under the operation of the motor (12), is configured to actuate an outlet (38) of a container (40) to dispense fluid from within the container (40). The gear arrangement (14) is configured such that a low torque motor (12) may be used to dispense the fluid.
