  • Publication number: 20240095680
Abstract: A method of implementing administrative services for a compensation platform is disclosed. One or more interactive compensation representation views are generated based on an evaluation of mapping rules against a flexible ontology and current data state, the flexible ontology comprising customizable compensation components, relationships, and properties. One or more compensation representation views are dynamically updated in real-time in response to changes in compensation data, user context, or access permissions without requiring manual regeneration of the one or more compensation representations. The one or more interactive compensation representation views include a user interface element displayed in response to a user selection of compensation data, wherein the user interface element provides direct access to compensation information relevant to the selected compensation data without requiring a change to another screen or another user context.

  • Publication number: 20240095645
Abstract: A method of generating customizable goal representation is disclosed. A request from a user to view a goal representation is received. A flexible goal ontology is accessed that comprises one or more goal entities, one or more goal relationships between the goal entities, or one or more goal properties, the one or more goal properties including one or more metadata attributes relating to the one or more goal entities. A set of mapping rules is obtained that defines mappings between one or more goals. The set of mapping rules is evaluated to assemble a customized goal representation tailored to the user. The customized goal representation is updated based on a revaluation of the mapping rules affected by changes to the one or more goal entities, the one or more goal relationships, or the one or more properties.

  • Publication number: 20070028109
Abstract: In accordance with a broad aspect, a method is provided to securely configure a computing device. A configuration indication is received into the computing device, including receiving a digital signature generated based on the configuration indication. Generation of the digital signature accounts for a unique identifier nominally associated with the computing device. The received configuration indication is verified to be authentic including processing the unique identifier, the received configuration indication and the received digital signature. The computing device is operated or interoperated with in accordance with the received configuration indication. In one example, a service interoperates with the computing device. The configuration indication and digital signature are provided from the computing device to the service, and the service interoperates with the computing device in accordance with the configuration indication and the digital signature.

  • Patent number: 5725131
Abstract: A valve and dispensing assembly for dispensing powdered material from a container includes a flexible tube intended to be collapsed to actuate a valve which permits the tube to selectively open for dispensing the material through the tube. The assembly includes a flexible tube apparatus including a body attachable to the container and a valve releasably received within the tube and normally closing it off. Collapse of the tube causes it to move relatively of the valve to unseat it and open the tube for material discharge. The assembly also includes a declumper secured to the tube for movement therewith during collapse of the tube. The valve closes off the tube when in its uncollapsed condition while the tube and declumper move relatively of the valve during collapse to open the tube. A portion of the declumper is bifurcated and has serrated opposed edges which can engage the head of the valve during the tube collapse to assist in breaking up clumps which may have formed in the material.

  • Patent number: 5718353
Abstract: A closure assembly for attachment to the lid of a container for the storage and dispensing of towelettes or similar articles is constructed so as to be receivable within a preformed keyhole-shaped opening in the container lid. The assembly includes a body with a main radially extending flange larger than the opening in the lid. The lower portion of the body carries radially extending locking tabs which are dimensioned to fit through the lid opening and, upon the closure being turned, to engage the lower surface of the lid in opposed relationship with the flange which engages the upper surface. Antirotation tabs also extend radially of the lower portion of the body and again, upon rotation, engages the edges of the lid opening to thus secure the closure on the lid. A cap is also provided to releasably engage the upper portion of the closure body to provide a substantially airtight seal for the container.

  • Patent number: 5441178
Abstract: An overcap for use with a pump type dispenser comprises a generally cylindrical body having an open end and a closed end with the open end being sized to be press-fit over the closure member which secures the pumping unit to the container with which it is associated. The overcap body has a generally axially extending opening therein so that the spout of the pump may project therethrough. One or more radially inwardly directed flats may be provided adjacent the open end of the body to enhance engagement with the closure regardless of manufacturing variances therein. Further, at least one elongate, generally axially extending rib may be provided on the inner wall of the body to engage the top of the closure upon force being applied to the closed end to limit axial movement of the overcap toward the container.
