  • Patent number: 11967011
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, non-transitory computer-readable media, and methods for generating and modifying digital animations based on user interactions with a unique user interface portraying a one-dimensional layer motion element and/or elements for generating and utilizing animation path for digital design objects and animation layers. The disclosed system can provide a dynamic one-dimensional layer motion element that adapts to a selected animation layer and portrays selectable animation frames from the animation layer. The disclosed systems can provide options for generating and modifying various frames of the digital animation based on user interactions with the one-dimensional layer motion element, an animation timeline, and/or a corresponding animation canvas.

  • Publication number: 20240107258
Abstract: Systems and methods for rendering spatial audio in accordance with embodiments of the invention are illustrated. One embodiment includes a spatial audio system, including a primary network connected speaker, including a plurality of sets of drivers, where each set of drivers is oriented in a different direction, a processor system, memory containing an audio player application, wherein the audio player application configures the processor system to obtain an audio source stream from an audio source via the network interface, spatially encode the audio source, decode the spatially encoded audio source to obtain driver inputs for the individual drivers in the plurality of sets of drivers, where the driver inputs cause the drivers to generate directional audio.

  • Patent number: 11940448
Abstract: Early detection of lysosomal storage diseases (LSDs) including Mucopolysaccharidosis Type I (MPS I) and Pompe Disease can greatly improve patient outcome as each disease can be fatal once symptoms emerge. Screening for MPS I and Pompe Disease using biological samples including dried blood spots (DBS), buccal swab, peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), or white blood cells (WBCs) is described. The disclosed methods and assays provide a robust way to screen newborns for LSDs. The disclosed methods and assays can also allow rapid prediction of whether a patient with LSD will develop an immune response to enzyme replacement therapy (ERT), thus improving treatment for patients with LSDs. The disclosed methods and assays can also further reduce the number of false positives caused by pseudo deficiency cases of LSD, such as MPS I and Pompe Disease.

  • Patent number: 7498547
Abstract: A method of microwave synthesis of phosphors includes a microwave furnace having a microwave chamber; providing starting material in the microwave chamber; and subjecting the starting material to microwaves, whereby the starting material is synthesized into phosphors. An insulation package for use in microwave synthesis is disclosed that includes an insulator having an opening therein, wherein the opening is substantially symmetrically disposed in relation to a central axis of the insulator, and wherein the opening is adapted to receive starting material. A susceptor configuration may be positioned within the cavity, wherein the insulator, the cavity, and the susceptor configuration are substantially symmetrically disposed in relation to an axis of rotation of the insulation package. A microwave furnace for continuous microwave synthesis of phosphors is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20070088261
Abstract: FIG. 1 depicts two different size open slots; the narrow opening guides the needle by its slot during Step 2 procedure (FIG. 4). The lager open slot (40) provided at the end of the needle cap (FIG. 1) is the clearance for the needle hub (100 in FIG. 4). This open slot (40) allows the needle to come in at angle to make a contact with the cap at 90 (FIG. 4). This procedure eliminates the conventional way of capping of pushing against each other between a cap and a needle where the most percutaneous injuries are occurred while doing so. When it reaches the position Step 3 in FIG. 4, the tip of the needle is already passed the injury plane which means the hand and fingers are behind the point where it is safe to push the cap against the needle away from the hand of the user.
