    Abstract: Methods and devices for dynamically allocating popular content to multi-node transmission channels are described. In one aspect, a method, performed by a content delivery system is described. The content delivery system comprises a termination system configured to deliver content to a plurality of nodes over a plurality of transmission channels. The method comprises: allocating transmission channels as multi-node transmission channels, each multi-node transmission channel being configured to distribute content from the termination system to a plurality of nodes; allocating transmission channels as single-node transmission channels, each single-node transmission channel being configured to distribute content from the termination system to a single node; and selecting content for transmission in the multi-node transmission channels based on content usage data.
